Very warm welcome, traditional pub with sports and drinks bar and restaurant area. Varied menu of homemade dishes with a specials menu on the blackboard. Plenty of lovely waiting staff. Food was delicious and good portions. Will definitely return when next in the area. Ample parking. Looks like it would be terrific in the summer with the outside seating and bar area.

Stopped in here for a short stop. Plenty of drinks on tap. Nice garden and tables. Sports TV's around the pub in and out. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Easy access with ramps for all. Clean facilities. Overall a good place to stop for a chilled drink. Can't comment on food but will review when I have. Would recommend

A very friendly family run village pub serving good portions of home made dishes. If your very hungry then try a starter or a share dish but the main courses are big and very filling. There is a nice area outside you can sit in if the sun is shining & a bbq area for the summer months. A small children's play area also within the Pubs grounds.

Wonderful service, prompt with a smile, and really nice options on the menu. We ended up here somewhat by accident after the Grufalo trial and booked a table purely based on reviews. Although it was about 15 minutes away I'd say it was worth the drive. We had the double stacked friend chicken burger, pear and walnut salad, ribs for starter and the meringue which was a perfect summer dessert. Good vegetarian options as well. They cater well for outside bookings and are also well setup post Covid. Lovely pub, lovely people in a lovely area.

Lovely, friendly pub serving great tasty food. We booked for a large party of 12 with 3 hours notice so was delighted they could accommodate us at such short notice. Staff were very welcoming and the service was efficient. The menu has a good selection, I particularly loved the homemade steak & mushroom pie. The food arrived piping hot and was very generous portions, so much so we couldn't squeeze in a dessert. We look forward to returning and this time we will definately be trying the homemade jam roly poly 😋 Thank you for a very pleasant evening in a lovely cosy atmosphere 👍

Very friendly staff, extremely good food and dog friendly too. This place has been the only public building I have been in where the toilets actually smelt pleasant! Excellent pub, I'll be coming back again.
