This is a review of the summer pop up - lovely location to have a lunch on a sunny day. Went there with a couple of friends. The food is good, the platter could be better in terms of quantity. The pulled beef in brioche bun was top.

Great coffee stop by the Brentford Riviera. "The best oat flat I've had in the borough," said my husband in a quote that wouldn't have been out of place over on "Overheard in Waitrose". Sadly we arrived too late to claim a pastry (they told us they were still getting used to planning for the right levels of traffic, which vary massively depending on the weather), but just in time for Ruben's Reubens' BBQ takeover to fire up. A plate of lamb shoulder, chicken thigh and sausage later (plus a delicious charred hispi cabbage which aforementioned husband also called the "best vegetable side he'd had all year") and our hunger abated. Once The Brentford Project is complete and you no longer feel surrounded by construction works, this place will be packed from morning til dusk every weekend. Try it out before that happens.

I'm a regular visitor to Rye By The Water, a delightful bakery in Brentford, West London, and I have to say that it's one of my favourite places in West London. As someone who loves fresh baked goods, I can confidently say that they serve some of the best croissants in London. 🄐 The croissants are light and flaky, with a perfect buttery taste that melts in your mouth. The ham and cheese croissants are a must try for anyone who likes a savoury treat that is moreish and indulgent. The baguettes and sourdough loaves are excellent. I wish they made chaussons aux pommes (hint šŸ™) What sets Rye By The Water apart from other bakeries, however, is not only the quality of the baked goods, but also the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The bakery's location, in a lovely oasis just off the main road by the river, is also a big plus, as it offers a beautiful view and a peaceful escape. I would highly recommend Rye By The Water to anyone looking for quality baked goods, friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere. It's truly a hidden gem in Brentford. Will be back and back again.

We searched out this bakery at some length as it supplies bread to several classy outlets in Ealing. We were not disappointed! A hidden gem in the midst of a huge development project baking the best croissants ever - still warm out of the oven, flakey and very fresh. In fact, I was enjoying my almond croissant so much I nearly forgot to take a photo. Like all independent bakeries, they bake to sell out by the end of the morning for visiting customers. So, arrive early for a full choice. When it’s gone, it’s gone! We also ordered a filled baguette - pulled pork and red cabbage slaw - delicious but poorly advertised. The bakery is set in a charming backwater overlooking Brentford canal but due to be relocated as the site is rebuilt. But the bakery could advertise itself better on the main high street. We’ll be back!

Wandered into the Brentford Project and stumbled across this absolute gem of a bakery just as they were about to close. Super friendly staff in a quirky little riverside location. Came away with two delicious sourdough loaves (fig and walnut is sublime) and will absolutely be going back for more.

I've visited with my wife on a Saturday morning and it was fabulous! Everything we've tried was really really good, we also took two baguettes which were really really good!

I was delighted to be able to go back. Fresh baked goods and in my case croissant...yum! It's a lovely place to unwind or chill, being slightly off the beaten track, but worth the little detour That croissant 🄐 was just delicious...

A well-hidden gem of a bakery and cafe. The bread (which you can see being baked behind) is superb supported by very good coffee. Recommend you seek it out down a side road from the high street or river Brent.

Great selection of breads and pastries. Coffee is nice and have some packaged snack choices for vegans and gluten-free diets. Would be really cool if they made fresh gluten free bread! However, had a very poor matcha latte there.

How lucky are we to have this beautiful bakery on our doorstep? The croissants are the closest to the ones we’ve had in Paris. Can’t wait to visit more often.
