At a time when pubs are being changed to appeal to the gastro crowd and losing their 'local' feel. It is wonderful to find a pub that feels like a proper traditional pub. It does what a good pub should - wonderful beer, excellent straightforward, fresh food - all at a good price. The pub is hugely popular, so why don't the likes of Fullers realise that this is absolutely the way to go, instead of turning their pubs into anonymous gastro palaces and trying to justify another quid on the price of a pint.
Lovely pub. Lots of original features. Music just in the background so you don’t have to holler. Already eaten but would definitely try again and sample the menu.

I love this place. Great value food, the Steak Night & The Rib Night are superb. Real Ale & Vinyl Deck for music playing great classic albums. You can’t ask for more!
What’s not to like, great selection of beers & ciders. Lovely garden at the rear with loads of seating and heaters also a large covered area just in case the weather takes a turn. This place has something for everyone and all at a good price.

The ambience is great. Especially the cut fluffy Labrador they have is absolutely adorable. Its a cozy place with a heated outside seating area. It's been very well done, both inside and outside seating area. Food is above average. Beer is great. They also have a gluten free beer available in pints. It's a lovely place for an evening out or even a late night out for a few drinks.
Good to see one of the few original pubs in the area still going. They always have plenty of ales and lagers on along with the usual customs. They do a great barbecue on a match day too with burgers et al.
Based upon the latest visit the chaps behind the bar were friendly and playing some vinyl. Outdoors was nice too with sport on and the outdoor bar open. The folks was decent and portions big (chicken schnitzel, chips and salad was just over £15).
Well situated and one of the better pubs in the area. One of the last ones standing nearby by all accounts.
Without a doubt, it was a lovely place, Awesome outdoors, but one difficultness, the walk out on the green, was lumpy and uneven, as I've got bad legs, it was difficult to walk on, and I became scared in case my legs went under..

A nice quaint and pleasant little pub, Visited midday during the week so it was nice and quiet.. Some nice beers and ales on tap, Highly recommend the pizzas.. two for one and of very good quality.

Definite, a proper boozer. Lovely people both customers and staff. A great selection on tap, both cask and keg. The Express tavern enjoys a site at the northern end of Kew Bridge. This is a pub that is "lived in" and all the better for that. A most enjoyable visit with great beer supplied

What an absolutely fabulous establishment. The food was so fresh, great selection of hearty pub foods. Amazing selection of beer and cider 🍺 such friendly pub staff, they’re so great and clearly have a great time working there. Will be a regular I can see it now!
Always very friendly and welcoming, with a nice atmosphere and lots of tables - the terrace out the back is really lovely. Perfect for post-work drinks. Loads of craft beer on offer!
Great Brentford pub! They have a wide selection of beers including one for the local Brenftord FC team which makes this place perfect for matchday or even any other sports day. Their patio is huge and perfect for large gatherings too
The food was just simply tasty as can be , i had the pie of the day and it did not disappoint me. I have been waiting months to get a homemade pie and it was 5/5 the mash and PROPER gravy paired nicely, nice selection of drinks And had a good London pub vibe, the gent who served me was a nice gent full of chat and flair sadly i did not get his name but he was bald flamboyant gent very friendly .
Wow, not been here for a while but having the GTECH stadium next door has transformed The Express Tavern. Great crowd, fab garden, easy ordering on their app that you can run a tab on AND share it with mates.

It's a quintessential tavern that serves excellent food and a range of drinks. In addition to the indoor seating it boasts a lovely beer garden. Plus pets are welcome.

Big, with a Winter Garden and an open space where you can smoke. Order possible via QR Code, then a servant comes to your table with your ordered items. Cozy, clean, nice atmosphere. Big selection of beer. Haven't tried the food.
Great atmosphere and staff, great beers but the food was just not worth it. Overcooked and unevenly seasoned aside our chips smelled rancid and seemed to be fried just once and too long. The meat was dry and the burger buns so dry it just crumbles. I guess the real chef wasn't in because of the awful quality of the meals but I wouldn't want to spend my money to try a second time. But if you just want beer and snacks this is a perfect spot
