We attended the Bittersweet Chocolate Co's Chocolate Making Workshop on Feb 4th 2017 in a group of four - plus one other couple - and had a great time.
It's a really productive session of 3+hours (he often overruns �) and you are given enough advice in a friendly and constructive way and then allowed to get on with what you've been shown without having anyone bear down on you and make you feel pressured or stupid.
A top gift for any chocolate lover - you can lick your fingers to your hearts content and you keep EVERYTHING you make, which tastes amazing.
Would 100% recommend.
Had an amazing morning with my work friends doing a chocolate course . It was fun, professional and we got to take home lots of lovely goodies . Would definitely recommend it !!
I attended the chocolate making workshop on November 5th. We had a lovely afternoon, it was a lot of fun and very informative. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We made loads of chocolates and got to take them all home. Our friends and family are really impressed with our creations. I really enjoyed it, I'd definitely do it again.

Just tucking into my salted caramels that I purchased at Eroica along with a variety of your other delicious chocolates. I was going to save them and eat them slowly but they're to delicious so I'm going to have to eat them all now!

We attended the Chocolate Heaven workshop, and it was amazing! A small group meant it was easy to pay attention and understand what was going on. Its a fun, relaxed environment. Creativity is encouraged (although mine is lacking!) and you get to take away everything you make. It is fantastic, and I would not hesitate in recommending this experience to anyone!

(I've always been a Cadburys girl) but I now realise how awful it is after trying your wonderful chocolate! You made us feel really welcome and taught us a thing or two!Thank you for letting us do lots of truffles and chocolate discs for my nieces wedding favours I'm sure all the guests are going to love them. Had a lovely Sunday lunch for my grandparents anniversary. Good and service were very excellent! We had to ask how they cooked the cauliflower as it was very nicely done.
I've driven by a few times before and it's always looked busy. Popped in today without booking, there wasn't a table available in the restaurant, but we're welcome to sit in the bar area or garden. I'd advise booking if you knew you were going! Food was amazing, can't rate it highly enough. Very reasonably priced too for saying the quality of it all. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

We came off the motorway and stopped here for lunch, and it was ace. Really delicious fillet of beef. My wife's venison suet pudding looked even nicer!

absolutely beautiful! Welcoming friendly staff nothing is to much trouble for them! even went the extra mile to make me a dessert that wasn't on the main menu to cater to my gluten intolerance, complements to the chef also! Best steak we have ever eaten. Already can't wait to come back!
Lovely staff and a very cosy pub. A variety of well prepared food from bar snacks to steaks and other fancy dishes.
They allow dogs in the bar area and also in the beer garden.
Always an excellent evening here! Can't fault it. Fantastic food fantastic environment just lovely!

Visiting from Leeds again for Sunday lunch. Lovely food, great service and atmosphere as ever, the Beef & Mushroom Casserole is just perfect together with a selection of vegetables/potatoes, that said everything is lovely, have been visiting for years and look forward to next time, thank you Jenny & your team 👏
Really good Sunday lunch, lovely staff, very dog friendly with some pretty walks (of varying lengths) from the pub car park. We met up with friends there because it was central and couldn't have picked a better place. The pub garden is superb, but they're happy to sit you in a snug with your dogs if you don't want to be outside.

Good old fashioned, traditional, all your problems melt away, want to marry the chef, tasty grub. Wonderful staff, warm atmosphere and suitable for couples and family's. Julie served us twice, and she is just lovely, and a pleasure to talk to.
Highly recommend!
Turned off the motorway midway through a 7-hour drive in the hope of finding somewhere to catch something to eat on a Sunday afternoon. And what a great pub this turned out to be. Truly fabulous food!!! Really; just excellent. Plus super-friendly staff. 5-stars from me.
Lovely cosy pub with tasty food and a friendly team. We mixed up our booking but they accommodated us so well with no issues. Recommend booking if you want food, as they get busy
Just as it was described, The Restaurant Pub had a large car park, easy access front and rear, and the waft of a real fire blowing about. Nice greeting, friendly staff and despite being booked inside, we chose to eat outside. Great selection of roasts and veg with all trimmings. Recommended.

Me friends and I tried this place on a Friday night for dinner, from the moment you arrive to all through the meal, the staff were friendly, accommodating and very welcoming.
They have black boards for menus, and the food was very good homemade selections. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and two if my friends are vegetarian and seemed to be very satisfied with their chickpea stew, also very generous portions. We'll be back again, and I can't recommend it enough!
Called in for a drink, nice to see a pub that hasn't been modernised to try and attract young adults. Perfect as it is ,didn't have any food, but bought some chocolate treats that they make themselves.
Lovely place. Delicious food. It was a little cold though but that was due to my choice of table.
