It was our second stay and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are beautiful and the bed is so very comfortable Breakfast was gorgeous It’s a very friendly pub will happily stay agin xx
Brilliant atmosphere, superb food and excellent beer at this pub I can't recommend it enough. The staff are all very polite and helpful and the landlady Sophia made me feel very welcome. Definitely somewhere to visit if you find yourself up this area.
Quiet little pub, perfect to stop in when touring the Cotswolds or on the way across to Wales. Heaps of parking, Richard was super friendly and welcoming, room was refurbed less than a year ago with a big comfy bed.
Great pub, very friendly. Lovely comfortable room and a fantastic breakfast. Super special landlady who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Thanks Sophia, l will be back.
Practical, casual, and family friendly pub with a warm atmosphere. I came here with a group of colleagues as one of our team has been a longtime resident of Bredon. We went for games night and played Old English Bagatelle and Crokinole. (Pictured) Drink and food quality is appropriate for their r
This place is a hidden Gem! The two landlords are extremely hard working and have pulled together a beautiful little pub here! An authentic log fire makes it cozy, a good selection of beers, ales and ciders. And I must say extremely clean and well presented rooms with really nice showers! The landl
A great Safe Haven. Look after your Local. Liked · A late booking, and running late, just expecting basics we were greeted and treated by our host with drinks and lovely freshly made up sandwiches and side salad (despite the late hour) which we desperately needed after a hard day working then trave
The rooms are amazing! So comfortable and what you see in the photo is what you get. Hosts are great, very welcoming, really friendly and ensure you have everything you need. Delicious home cooked food at great prices and the good atmosphere in the pub. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful stay in lovely historic pub - comfortable bed, delicious inexpensive food and extremely friendly welcome from Sophia and her team - highly recommended 😊
Great b&b. Good food and comfy bed, the beer is great as well. Can't go wrong here...
We've just had xmas dinner. It was really hot, generous & enjoyable. The welcome is always warm here too, from Sophia & Richard & local people enjoying quaint & historic pub games, even on a cold night.
Richard and Sophia have really transformed The Oak into a proper village hub again. Their food is great, the log fire is always roaring, the beer is top drawer, and there's always plenty going on (classic pub games nights, folk nights, quiz nights etc.). They've really embedded themselves into villa
Old pub, great staff, friendly service, comfy rooms. 10/10
stayed for two nights clean bedrooms and good food a nice 13th century pub with plenty of character very good hosts nothing is to much trouble highly recommended
We went to the Sunday pub quiz which was a fundraiser for the charity Emmaus. The quiz was well organised, fun and the end of quiz chips delicious. Actually my team of 2 people won but I think everyone won that evening as it was such a brilliant community event in a terrific pub. To be repeated!
Pub has reopened today following refurbishment. They've done a great job and the landlords appear very friendly. Drinks only at the moment while they settle in. Apparently when the food service starts it's planned to be pub type fayre. Nice pint of Wye Valley bitter. Other beers on tap.
