Had a really nice meal here. The staff was very friendly and even made a special treat for our dogs. Lovely little pub, would definitely pay a visit again when in the area.
Absolutely wonderful local pub with charming hosts, authentic olde worlde interior, smashing local beers and super food. Recommended by our B&B and we can see why. First rate all round.

Excellent pub. Staff friendly food is really nice, home cooked and fresh. Visiting for four days and went back 3 times. I can recommend , Mac n Cheese, Duck spring rolls, fish and chips, steak and Guinness pie delicious. Nice ambience. Gary is the chef. Would definitely recommend.

Been here a couple of times, good service, good food, good prices and a lovely environment especially by the open fire. Just had the most amazing roast dinner of slow cooked roast lamb and all the trimmings at the Red Lion today. Fabulous food, great service. So pleased to see Lyndsey and Gary back where they belong. We will be back again soon 👏😊
