We've just come back from a long weekend here and are already talking about when we will visit again ! Jon and Carole were so friendly and welcoming , the food was delicious and it really felt like a home from home. We both really enjoyed the plum pudding Carole made and Metin couldn't get enough of Jon's tea. Perfect weekend.

We stayed in Bridge Cafe B&B in August bank holiday. location is perfect. Very close to bus stations and walkable from town centre.
We really enjoyed our stay with Jon & Carole. They are a lovely host. Jon makes an amazing coffee and my husband is talking about it even after coming back to London :D . They were very nice .
Room was cozy and had everything necessary. We watched some Dvd's from their DVD collection. All in All it was perfect stay. I would definitely recommend it

Would have given 10 stars if I could. Without doubt the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Jon and Carole were the best hosts, the room was lovely and spacious and the breakfast was out of this world. Will definitely return.
What an absolute gem of a place! Stayed here last weekend with a couple of pals, as we were attending an event, climbing Pen-y-fan.
The rooms were great, very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.
Without doubt, I would stay here again the next time I plan to visit Brecon.
Thank you Jon and Carole, you've got it absolutely spot-on!
Really enjoyed our stay. Nice clean rooms, great breakfast and accommodating hosts who were made our stay very pleasant.
Jon and Claire define the meaning of ‘hospitality’. Since we arrived we were made to feel at home and have never stayed somewhere we could be so relaxed. There is a great selection for breakfast and was made with care. Endless offers of coffee and conversation. The rooms were comfy and the amenities plentiful. Will definitely be staying again if we return to Brecon 👍🙏 thanks guys!
Brilliant B&B in prime location for Brecon and the hills nearby. Breakfast was delicious, great coffee and a very comfortable bed! The hosts Jon and Carole made us feel very welcome and will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.
We recently booked a long weekend in Brecon, to hike and enjoy the countryside and had the pleasure of staying at the marvellous Bridge Café B&B.
From the first instance, John and Carole's hospitality went above and beyond. They offer a special discount if you book directly through their website and for us, right from our initial booking we felt well looked after, with the offer of a personal pick up to and from the station (cheaper than taxi)and providing maps and suggesting routes to a variety of hikes for a range of abilities. We were also provided with a bus timetable to help us take a day trip to Abergavenny to climb sugar loaf mountain. Both John and Carole were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The B&B is quaint, cosy and excellently located for hiking routes and the town centre.
We stayed in the en-suite room, which was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and big bathroom. It is also very quiet for a sound nights sleep.
Breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble and all for a reasonable price. Don't stay anywhere else.
One of the best bed and breakfast establishments I have ever stayed in. John and his wife made us all feel very welcome and like members of their family. Nothing was to much at breakfast everything you could wish for from cooked to continental with home made ingredients and locally sourced produce. The acomodation in this old converted cottage was both quirky and comfortable.
Overall a great experience made all the more memorable by John's lay back and familiar persona always willing to help.
Just back from 3 nights at the Bridge Cafe and had a wonderful, peaceful time. The vibe was very laid back and informal although very well run and organised. Carole and Jon are great hosts and the veggie breakfasts are wonderful. The rooms are spotless and comfy and warm on these cold nights and the location excellent. The weather let me down a bit but that's Wales for you! I'd definitely go back to the Bridge Cafe and would heartily recommend to anyone looking for a B&B in the area.
