Quick, friendly service - they found us a table when we turned up on Saturday night without booking - and superb food.
Booked a table, glad as it was totally rammed....sore tables lasted seconds as never-ending stream of people filling the restaurant up. Food was very good, quite authentic and yes I spent a lot of time in Thailand many years ago. Tasty dishes, soups, curries etc. Definitely on my list to return...it's about 30 minutes drive
Amazing food and service. The seabass in plum sauce was the best thing I has in a while. Delicious! A little pricy and the mains don’t even come with rice.

Very decent Thai food, not quite 5 stars but not far off - definitely recommend. One of the better places in Brecon I reckon. I had Prawn Pad Thai and it was very tasty. Nice bit of food art / decoration too, lifted it a little. Would come back here, in fact I have already been back! :-)

Wide menu choice and very vegan/vegetarian friendly.
Service was excellent and quick,
The food was fresh and absolutely gorgeous.
I had panang tofu with a vegan platter for starter.
The only downside was cash only, hopefully this is temporary but will update when we return at later date.
Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Now coming to food - It was OK. I'm obviously coming from high standards after dining Thai food at Jasmine chain of restaurants in Tokyo, and Bangkok Lounge in London, so with respect to that, I think this lacked authenticity. The flavour of lemongrass needs to be pretty visible (metaphorically) through the food. The Green curry could have done with more coconut milk and you need to use Jasmine rice for white rice.
The fish was awesome, it was sweet, tangy and sour. It could have done with more garnishing. Presentation was pretty simple.
Chang Thai Cuisine is in the old Cognac pub building. They have refurbished it very nicely and not over the top Thai style. We were one of the first in for the evening but there was a certain amount of confusion over what we had ordered, an extra coke that we ended up paying for. Our starters of veg spring rolls and fish cakes were very good and presented well. The mains became very confused, wrong rice quickly corrected but ended up with 3 mains, 1 of which was definitely correct but not sure which of the other 2 we should really have had! Despite all this the food itself was very good. We had missed one vital point. You can only pay cash! Really not good enough. Luckily we could still pay. Would go back as the food is worth it.
Up until this meal i had written Thai food off as my no go cuisine. However, had always felt that the places I went weren’t that great with a lack of research.
I bit the bullet and tried here and boy did it pay off - what a meal! We got the sea bass with red sauce, chips, steak and chicken parcels.
All delicious and I would 100% recommend going here!
Out of all the restaurants myself & my partner visit, this beautiful, little restaurant is by far our favourite and the one we frequent the most.
Not once have we ever left there disappointed or not quite satisfied by the food. Whenever we visit I can't help but try the Thai curries, but on our last visit we decided to try their Chinese dishes for a change. For our mains we had the chicken szechuan, chicken chow mein, and the sizzling beef - it was quite simply delicious!
The real winner though was the banana fritters and coconut ice cream that we had for our desserts - I won't go on to tell you how incredibly good they were, just try them for yourself if ever you visit! You will not be disappointed!
It's a beautiful little restaurant that has a very relaxing atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and provides a great service and he is always willing to help & accommodate you.
Definitely one to visit if you love Thai food!
Very good quality thai food and friendly fast service. Yellow curry was seriously tasty and the starters were all top notch. Papaya salad also excellent
By far the best Lamb Massaman Curry I've had to date!
The staff were very polite and helpful, getting everything right with our order.
The pricing was reasonable especially regarding the quality over every aspect.
The restaurant was very tidy, tables were spotless and everything well presented, the music was also very relaxing and just the right volume.
I highly recommend this place as ideal to impress first dates, they won't let you down. 👍

Another excellent meal here tonight 😁 crispy beef is gorgeous, the sweet and sour sea bass was delicious. I would highly recommend this place (there would be more pics but I couldn't wait to eat the food) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Singapore noodles ever! Visited here a year previously, and the Singapore noodles were so good we had to return a year later! Delicious! Thai red curry also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and very reasonably priced too!
