Come here all the time being a Brecon local. Friendly staff, a reasonable variety of foods and cakes (could do with a bit more0 but the feather in the cap is the location. Incredibly friendly service , delicious food (we had the Welsh rarebit, meat & cheese platter & thee best coronation chicken sandwich ever. Lovely setting too. Highly recommend!
This is a nice place to come for lunch and we're glad to walked a little bit further out for it. Staff were friendly and attentive. we had the Welsh rarebit and the vegan sandwich - the bread for both was so fresh and delicious. Prices were reasonable which was nice as many other places in Brecon a
Excellent cafe in a lovely location. We parked in the long stay car park so it was a bit if a walk on a hot day but well worth the effort. Cafes in Brecon looked busy and few had tables outside. A delightful oasis in the busy town of Brecon. Lovely welcoming staff when I phoned and who remembered my name. Sat outside under a tree in the shade on a sunny day on the lawn and finished with the pleasures of visiting the Cathedral in whose grounds the cafe lies. Presently shut Mondays and Tues
As a tourist we visited on a Sunday and had the cafés delicious Sunday lunch a choice between beef, chicken or veggie option, the food was delicious the freshly prepared veg was a delight. Highly recommended
Picked up 2 tasty quiches & a cappuccino to take away. Can recommend the charming service. We sat on the Promenade to eat our lunch in the glorious Brecon sunshine.

Great place for lunch - lovely surroundings and very nice food. They cooked the Welsh rabbit for us even though we were too early for lunch. Very friendly service and beautiful vases of tulips on each table.
Thoroughly recommend, a tranquil place to visit. Our light meal was good and the cake yummy .Pleasant staff.
The Hours Cafe combines a very pleasant cafe serving drinks, snacks and light lunches with a book shop and meeting place. Never disappointed with the food. All this in one of the oldest wonky buildings in Brecon! There is an upstairs room where they have exhibitions and events. Also there are music

Wonderful Brecon Cathedral Cafe & Bookshop with Table Service & Delicious Lunch Menu. You can park your car in Public Car Parking with Pay by Cash or Mobile Ringo App! We stopped by a couple if times during our recent Welsh Vacation! Recommended!
Yet another delicious lunch at The Hours...homemade quiche is a must have and there is always a warm welcome for humans and dogs alike( even though we were dogless on this occasion!) Definitely one of the best places to eat and refresh in Brecon!
