Brecon Tap - Brecon - Photo album

We ended up here after a long walk along the canal, we just kind a picked st random finding somewhere that was dog šŸ¶ friendly. Freindly welcome and quickly ordered our food. We both went for pies as that seemed to be there specialty. Both pies were amazing the veggie pumpkin one and venison + damso
Excellent place to stop for lunch and a pint. I loved the cranberry, brie, bacon sandwich- perfect balance of savory and sweet. Huge selection of beers: cask, tap, cans. Exceptional service; we had her hopping and she did fantastic! Highly recommended #thischickdrinksbeer
Popped in for a drink and just missed the kitchen closing at 3pm. Nicely furnished bar with a great range of beers, lagers & ales, including a non-alcoholic option. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Dog friendly. Not expensive. A gin & tonic, Afghan pale ale and a couple of packets of brown bag
Great find after a fairly long drive. Thought the place was closed but after peering through the autumnal steamed up windows what a joy we have had. Great ale and very fine food from the Sunday menu. Top job
Stopped off at the Tap for breakfast, told it was a lovely array to choose from and we were not disappointed! My large 'The Tap' breakfast couldn't be finished, my eyes were far too big for my belly! My partner and kids had very much the same experience with eggs benedict, egg on toast and banana an
First class place - service was impeccable, an interesting range of beers but all other bar options available. The pies are the speciality so I went for steak and ale which came with two sides. Utterly delicious and absolutely huge. But quality was not at all compromised over quantity. Highly recomm
A very nice little place to have a quick bite and a drink. Try the lucky 7 IPA, superb on a sunny autumn day. We had a couple of sharing boards with that and were really pleased. Service was courteous and helpful, food arrived quickly and was tasty. Prices were very reasonable.
Lovely waitress and absolutely delicious food. We got the chorizo and chicken pies and chips and BBQ beans as sides. Very large portions and the beans were fab! There was a small mistake with our order but the staff were quick to correct it and were very polite. Iā€™d definitely come here again!
Good beers and nice pies, also very dog friendly.

We found this a very odd place, with cold, odd Staff. Nevertheless the burger and the Pork, apple, cranberry pie were very good in quantity/quality, which is more than can be said about the whitebait starter, a very small portion. Odd place, odd Staff and very odd Customers too! Needs some jive in t
Great place for pies. Tried the beef and chicken one. Service is lovely and place is clean. Liked the pastry and the gravy.
What a find! Sunday evening roast dinner beef, chicken or veggie sausage. Like homemade dinner with pancakes that melt in the mouth for pudding. Highly recommend. Great service too.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had a couple of sips of a cask beer which really wasn't good, not sure if I'd just had the dregs from the bottom of the barrel, however the lady serving didn't even question when I asked to change it for something else and was more than happy to oblige. St
Great place, always clean and tidy with great food and the best Mocha in town...and there is some good competition for that accolade. They get five stars though because the staff there are just so consistently friendly and accommodating, top marks. Good clean toilets too and they have a couple of ou
Found this little gem for breakfast it was fantastic excellent service and very friendly definitely will return
Enjoyed our visit here. Great to see plenty of vegetarian options. Nice beer and food. Service was a mixture of table (for food) and bar for drinks. Food tasty and nicely presented. Tables, floors and windows could have been cleaner but it didnā€™t put us off
Decent meal at Brecon Tap. We had the chicken pie with mash and then the beef burger with bbq beans. The bbq beans were great but the burger was very small and very dry. The pie was a great size and lovely. It was a shame though as most of the menu was out when we came but understandable. A bit m
