The Hind's Head, Bray - Bray on Thames - Photo album

Fantastic Michelin starred gastropub in Bray. Stones throw away from Heston's Fat Duck. You can actually just come here and have a drink - which is fantastic! Limited selection of what's on Tap; but decent. The bar snacks are amazing... had Scotch egg, sausage rolls and triple cooked chips. DELIGHTF
I came here for a spontaneous lunch on a Friday. I had a quail scotch egg as a starter, the trout for main and pineapple cheesecake for dessert. They were all executed to near perfection and very tasty. The pub was gorgeous. The best part of the meal however was the service - friendly, attentive and
We got stuck in traffic with a number of road closures. We turned up late after the kitchen closed and the staff were so accommodating and nice despite being so late. The kitchen up somethings which were left over and Poppy really looked after us. It turned our whole day around :) The food was so de
We came here for our 1 year anniversary meal, and it did not disappoint, I had the ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly and served with triple cooked chips, and my significant other had the fish and chips which she absolutely loved including the chippy dip which was just a touch of nostalgia of e
We had a voucher given to us and had a set menu with 2 options per course - we liked all of them, First time here and we really enjoyed all of our meal, The staff were very attentive and friendly. Refreshing change to have really good service and really good quality food. The village of Bray is v
Wonderful experience! From world class cocktails to out of this world food this place has it all! The staff were outstanding, making this a very special place. The Hinds Head well worth a visit!
Beautiful venue and friendly staff. The pudding is extremely rich and filling, despite its small package. Overall, a very relaxed dining experience compared to Dinner, with similar price tags.
Wonderful little pub. Excellent food. Some of the best fish and chips I have ever had - and I lived in England.
Fish and chips was never anything special for me… but this lives in a completely separate level. The real stars: the batter and the chips. Superbly done, with a brilliant side of flavours (including the mushy peas!). If there is only one thing missing here, it is the tartare sauce. Still, wonderful
Can’t get a table at the Fat Duck? Then why not check out Heston’s *other* Michelin starred joint just a few doors away? The restaurant is superb but the place still serves as an excellent local pub with its own bar menu which is highly recommended in its own right. Dog-friendly too
We went twice over span of a couple weeks. First time was evening before our Fat Duck lunch and we wanted to try Heston’s pub. We loved it so much we brought the family down for Sunday lunch on our last day of our UK trip. This is more than just well executed and creative traditional pub food. It’s
Visiting The Hinds Head for the first time , there is a level of expectation being a Michelin Star rated restaurant… wow absolutely amazing food , service and ambiance. Since moving to the UK , this is the best food experience I have had . Thank you I will see you soon for some more of this amazing
Historic pub cum one Michelin star eatery. Traditional English menu with a twist. Scotch egg a must try. The pea and ham soup was fresh and tasty. The beef fillet was cooked to perfection and paired with the triple cooked chips. Service was friendly. Definitely worth a try.
Lovely old building and bar area. Food is interesting and tasty. Slow service, not very attentive: needed to ask for things like napkins rather than being offered them as a matter of course.
Superb food. Last time I visited in 2008? I had the oxtail pudding and I was thrilled to see it still on the menu. So fantastically rich and tasty that the lack of green veg wasn't an issue. Magnificent scotch egg to start. The welcome could have been a little more enthusiastic but otherwise the ser
Food and service fantastic! Each dish from the 4 course meal we had brought back nostalgic memories! Highly recommend!!
Impeccable service from start to finish. Every staff member I encountered was polite, happy and eager to help. Small touches like returning to the table to find your napkin neatly folded, staff asking what your favourite part of each course was, and explanations of the thinking behind various elemen
Really great pub. It has a very authentic feel to it and the food is great. We particularly loved the nibbles to start. I suggest you try and share them all! The sausage rolls, the scotch egg, the dates in bacon, the mushroom pate and the croquettes. They were all amazing. The chocolate desert was a
