We visited friends in the local area and they bought us here. Super friendly staff and locals, very good priced drinks too. The pub itself is lovely, very cosy look and feel with the decor. Good range of drinks available and has a pool table in a function room too. Facilities are good (I can only speak to the ladies but I was very impressed!). All in all a lovely pub with lovely people, and we will definitely visit again when next in the area. (We did not have food when we visited so I cannot speak to this, but consensus with other locals I spoke to was that it is good!)

Fabulous meals. Homemade cream of chicken soup was excellent as was all our food ordered today. We were very jealous of the size of the homemade pavlova on the next table would love to have tried but just too full up. Also the care and attention given to our dogs was wonderful, will visit again next time we are up visiting our mum. We give 5 *s
Stopped off here this evening for a quick bite to eat and a quick drink… great quality food at very reasonable prices.. sat on the deck and watched the sunset.. we will be returning on our next visit..
We stopped for Sunday lunch while camping in the area. We hadn't booked but were made to feel very welcome despite having 4 children with us. We all had roast dinners. They were fantastic! Everything was well seasoned and VERY tasty. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it... would thoroughly recommend!
First impressions weren't good as we approached by car, the place looks a little run down and the smokers area placement outside the front door wasn't helping.
Once inside, the staff were very friendly and patient. This was while dealing with a Coeliac, a vegan, two vegetarians and gaggle of 7-10year old chatterboxes.
The food was great, all as ordered and decent size portions.
An allergens list for their food would have really helped put minds at ease whilst ordering.
All in all, a good place to eat and worth a visit.
Lovely country pub. Limited beer options but the pint of Madri whilst watching the sun set was excellent.
Amazing place with incredible food! Really understanding of the needs of small children and not only let us order kids food straight away but it came out really quickly too - and it was so delicious it got wolfed down! The adult meals were incredible, the chicken panang curry was was so delicious, easily as good as the curries we had in Thailand and definitely authentic. The crispy chilli beef and monkfish were superb. With clean plates all round despite generous portions we were tempted by the pudding menu and oh my gosh, the sticky toffee pudding blew us away, honestly the best I've ever had!
We will definitely be back and will be sure to make more use of the takeaway menu too. Thanks for such a delicious meal (and locally produced cider!).

The prices aren't cheap but for the quality and service i would say its worth paying.
Lovely traditional pub.
Good roast dinner with a lovely selection of vegetables... when we visited we had undercooked carrots, but didn't detract from the overall meal
Absolutely excellent food. Chef is classically trained and also cooks his heritage Thai food on Mondays and Tuesdays. Friendly service and decent beer.
Amazing menu. The food was delicious can't praise it enough. The new owners are doing a fabulous job. Will definitely be regular visitors!
Last minute visit with 35 people and 7 dogs after place pre-booked was now closed on a bank holiday. Excellent food and service, could not be more helpful. When down again next year will be going again.
Food is delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely eating facilities and outside area to. Bringing all the family back on Saturday.
