An epic carvery with lots of choice. It's very rare you see self serve carveries these days, especially ones with so much choice. It was all very good quality, and very tasty. The meat was delicious and generously served. The restaurant itself is a little dated, but the service is good.
Great Sunday roast deal, good selection of side dishes with the roast. We were lucky to get a table at the carvery and really enjoyed the side dishes. The meat was dry but still got a nice lunch overall for the price.
Stumbled across this pub whilst on a staycation. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Rare find dog friendly pub. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend a visit!
We've driven past this pub on our way too and from the beach and its a lovely setting and big pub. Often its very busy for good reason as we found out when we managed to pop in for an evening meal. Atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were great and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, e
We found this nice gem on our way back to London from Saunton beach. We managed to squeeze in to their fully booked restaurant. The food quality was superb. Highly recommend to have your meal there. You need to book in advance for the carvery.
Well what can I say one of the best meals I have ever had and I've had a few ..ordered steak and ale pie and had potato's and veg selection. From the carvery instead of chips ..it was amazing will be back soon ..

Lovely midday carvery...three meat choices and so many veggies!
Had a lovely family meal at the Williams Arms yesterday. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the Turkey and Gammon pie. Best pie I've tasted for a very long time. Carvery smelt and looked amazing. Desserts were also very nice.
Always go for a Sunday carvery here when we are down on holiday. Food is cooked perfectly and there's a great choice of different items. Gravy is always perfect consistency. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say that could be improved is the speed drinks come, can sometimes
Just had probably the best Sunday roast, Mum's cooking aside, ever. Lovely big dining room with loads of attentive staff. Carvery was amazing, lovely succulent turkey, pork or beef, 12 vegetable choices, including 3 different potato dishes, a cauliflower cheese to die for and roast parsnips. Huge po
Food was not the best, but still acceptable. The waiters service was under any village standards. The atmosphere was excellent. So if you want to see native countryside villagers in their genuine friendly atmosphere - this is the right place. We are keeping lightnings memories from this place even t
We have just had a great meal at this pub , fantastic Stilton salad at very good price ! Food is very fresh , well presented & substantial , will be returning! Seating arrangements in & out is excellent ! All the staff we encountered where engaging & friendly.
Lovely food including the great choice with the carvery. Nice atmosphere with pleasant staff in a nice setting - what more do you want from a pub. Keep up the good work guys with the big plates and carvery and thanks for letting us take home the left overs for the woofs! :-)
We called into the Williams Arms by chance. The car park was roomy, the interior was lovely and the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The carvery was brilliant, if fact, has someone who has eaten many a carvery, this was by far the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Williams Arms, we
Went for a lunch time carvery and it was one of the best we’ve ever had
Large pub doing a roaring trade in carvery meals (which looked awesome). Decided to order from menu and had an excellent beef stroganoff and cod with mussels and prawns. Lovely attentive staff. Will come here again.
We always visit the Williams Arms on our annual holidays down in North Devon. This year's visit didn't disappoint. Good service and delicious, fairly priced carvery. The restaurant and pub looks and feels quite old school in its approach but it's good to see a business which knows its sweet spot and
Really busy pub for a reason. Amazing pub food and service. Highly recommended
