The seafood gumbo was delicious! Very helpful staff and reasonable prices. We were just visiting for a holiday but would highly recommend this lovely little restaurant

My husband & I started our date night at the Riverside & so glad we did! We honestly enjoyed the best meal we have ever had in any restaurant we have ever eaten in. The staff & surroundings are amazing but the food is out of this world! I need to go back to sample some more of the menu and the cocktails were fab!
Superb meal for four, every dish was amazingly tasty and stunningly presented. Two of our party are coeliac, this was dealt with professionally and with great knowledge.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We eat out most Sunday's and have tried all of the eateries in this area and this is by far the best! The roast is out of this world! Service fantastic also. If you haven't eaten here yet, give it a try! :)
We had our works Christmas party here and it was fantastic! The food was to die for and the service was amazing,nothing was to much trouble and we had an amazing evening. Thank you to everyone at the Riverside,the Kit Heath team are very grateful xx

The service is relaxed yet attentive and professional. and the food? well what can I say, just back from enjoying one of their legendary Sunday lunches and as always it exceeded expectations. Home-cooked with sophisticated little twists and beautifully executed.

13th August - We didn't book but managed to get a table in the bar area which was fine for five of us (2 adults and 3 kids). Staff were very helpful and friendly, food was great and really good value.
Really good food and atmosphere, with friendly staff. We have dropped in during the day and book for an evening, both have been excellent! Cream tea or 3 courses you will not be disappointed!!
Really good food - ate there three consecutive days (stayed three nights nearby!) The Sunday roast is superb, including the veggie option. Very reasonably priced. You need to book for an evening (we got lucky!)

Very accommodating and friendly hosts. The food was delicious. It was a bit pricey but would visit again. Didn't really rate the burger. The rabbit and the jackfruit curry were both delicious.
This is an awesome little place. Great atmosphere and food was great too. My work colleagues also thoroughly enjoyed it! Good range of drinks also!! Would definitely eat here again!

We visited Hang loose yesterday ( Easter Sunday ) for a roast dinner, 6 of us. We were blown away , probably the best Sunday dinner I've had personally . Food was beautiful and cooked to perfection. Vegetables were delicious and again perfectly cooked. All served really nicely with a modern twist. Great atmosphere and really busy which gave it a nice happy vibe. Even though they were busy the staff were great and helpful. For location we thought it was pretty reasonably priced too.

Went for Lunch and had an excellent experience. The lunch menu is mostly upmarket sandwiches on a choice of bread/flatbread served with chips. We tried the roast beef and crispy pork belly. Both were delicious and we will be back again

We dropped in for a late lunch, other places were closing and we weren’t sure - however their onion bhaji burger was a revelation. I’ve been veggie a long time and no one has ever served me an onion bhaji as a burger before (why not it’s obvious when you think about it), it was delicious. So often the veggie version is a bit lacklustre but here it was the star.
Superb cuisine (modern international). Amazing value, with gluten free options for the entire menu. Can’t rate this restaurant high enough..

Nice and food looks good 👍 but the vegan mushroom burger is spicy and the info isn't on the menu. If I knew I would not order it as I am not very good with spicy food. I think its importamt to let people know.

We got breakfast here and it was delicious. Served by a very friendly and efficient young lady. And they let let dog in👍👍.
Interesting place in Braunton, nice dishes and friendly staff. When we went the place was packed and there was a delay with the kitchen. We stayed close to 2 hours when normally we need around half this time. Not our first time there and definitely not the last, but we will choose wisely next time when it's less crowded.. Keep up the good work!
