Lovely little cafe boat on the Grand Union Canal, Braunston. Inside tables for two and outside tables too, for nicer weather.
Breakfast was delicious, would highly recommend the potato scallops!

I had a lovely English breakfast that I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a great chat about canals and boating. Well what else is there to do for a gongoozler apart from have a rest, eat breakfast and drink coffee. I will return.

The ladies brought out our food after we sat down in the garden just outside. They even brought out cushions for us to sit on.
Stopped here for the first time for a breakfast & drinks. Food was really excellent, great quality & speedy service. Lovely spot by the canal for a delicious breakfast.

What a lovely little cafe! Great breakfast sandwich (and quite a substantial sandwich too) for a very reasonable price. Very nice staff serving us who were a credit to the company. Well done.
Always a delight to visit the Gongoozlers Rest boat either for breakfast, lunch or cuppa and cake...or on a really gluttonous day all three!

Great place. Seating inside (pre-Covid), and in a garden next to canal. Food is very good, the breakfasts are exceptional. The Ladies running it, are very pleasant. Fairly priced fare. Pick a sunny day to visit, so you can finish with a nice canal-side, or around the marina, walk.

Obviously a very popular place, serving good food from a varied menu. I had an excellent breakfast which was well cooked and generous in size.
A cafe with a difference! Loved sitting on this lovely boat and having a nibble to eat. The perfect pitstop!
As good as their reputation. I love the bacon & sausage in a bagette with their home style chips, as a narrowboater who was around before lock down on the way through and now just leaving it was great to see them open again last weekend.
We go here on Sunday mornings half way through our bike ride for breakfast. Very good value for money, really tasty food and welcoming staff. Definitely worth a trip!
