Stunning place to stay and eat.
This pub has the warm and cosy feel of a muddy wellies drinking and eating pub. The food is amazing, plenty of choice for our evening meal and a smaller, but perfect, Sunday lunch menu which would suit everyone. Didn’t feel hungry once during our stay!

The Mason Arms had been my late Grandparents favourite pub. We visited recently after a long time away. It didn't disappoint, and we loved reminiscing while we were there. We are vegetarians and couldn't believe a remote pub would have so many delicious options. We were particularly impressed with t
Amazing (!!!) food, beautiful staff and such great vibes. Close to the beach as well. We had some trouble with our car and the owner went above and beyond to help, really grateful for that as he didn’t have to do anything really! Such a lovely guy, highly recommend this place. Went with kids and dog
From the initial booking online to leaving the restaurant the whole experience was excellent.

Highly recommended.
The Mason Arms is a lovely pub but I was a little disappointed with food I received there on an evening. I basically had fish and chips and the fish was good, light and fluffy. The chips let the meal down but I suppose I should expect that for the price and with the pub being absolutely full.
We absolutely loved our couple of night's stay at the Masons Arms and would recommend both for the family-friendly rooms, pub, friendly/helpful staff, the delicious food and stunning rural/coastal surroundings.
I booked from overseas where we live and had several back and forth correspondences over
Amazing spot. Can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were lovely. We stayed in a cosy room, which was delightful. Great little touches make all the different. Fresh milk for tea and coffee. Modern clean bathroom. Great tea and coffee selection. Very comfortable beds and great pillows. Dinner was e
Lovely pub situated in the beautiful little village of Branscombe. It is in the valley so is very hilly, the roads are narrow and can get backed up but don't let it put you off. There is plenty of seating inside and outside and parking. They do accommodation. You can either walk or drive to the beac
Fabulous pub in the village. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. We sat outside for a snack and drinks. Service was efficient and speedy. Plenty of seating areas inside and out. Carpark at the rear. Wonderful food and a wide selection of drinks. Dog friendly and family friendly.
We had a fantastic late afternoon drink and an even better evening meal on Saturday (24/06/23) to celebrate our anniversary. And how brilliant to enter our beloved dog, Woody, into the dog wash competition. What a fun idea…not sure Woody particularly enjoyed it but he smelling a lot fresher!!
