Star Anise - Brampton - Photo album

Brought my wife here on our getaway. We went for a selection of starters, sides and mains, including a beautify creamy Pasanda that didn’t look stunning but tasted incredible. The Sylhet chilli chicken was delicious and my wife really enjoyed her paneer Makhani. Everything was wonderfully spiced mak
Last night I had dinner from star anise. Food was mouth watering and I had Lamb shashlik, it was juicy pieces of lamb just melted on mouth. I really loved it. For starter, I had tandoori king prawn. I really enjoyed. Food quality was 5 out of 5. And must I need to say there services was out stan
I was not encouraged by our starters of onion bhaji and samosas which were very small and average. Howe your mains of lamb rogan and lamb korma were absolutely delicious if a bit on the small side. The rice and naan we had were also very well cooked. It was a bit pricey at £40 with no drinks though
Have eaten here several times now and the food is very good quality. Authentic meals well prepared and presented, each with distinct individuality. It sets the bar, that makes you quick to come back after trying other places that struggle to meet Star Anise. Cheers.

We were staying in the area for the weekend and saw this place, we love Indian cuisine so popped in hoping for a table. We were really lucky as there was only one table not already booked so I recommend calling them and booking a table. We had poppadoms with mango chutney, meat samosa and chicken
On a short break in a cottage and decided on Indian takeaway . Wow the meal was outstanding, delicious, hot and tasty . Will definitely order again and highly recommend to others, the delivery driver was very efficient and polite . Thankyou for a great takeaway.
After 4 days of waking Hadrian’s Wall path, we arrived in Brampton on Sunday for an overnight before heading home to Scotland. We decided on a take away as we were too tired to go out for dinner. We opted for popadoms, a mango chutney dip, a vegetable platter, vegan ‘chicken’ pakora (which wasn’t on
Brampton is fortunate to have the Star Anise. Quality food by owner chef who is approachable, willing to discuss cuisine subtleties and produces flavorful foods that are tasty and filling without being too heavy. If I was a Brampton-nite (Bramptonian?), I'd probably visit once-a-week for my south
