This pub is the best in Kent, it’s fantastic restaurant quality food for affordable pub prices. All the staff are lovely and friendly, the atmosphere is extremely comforting and homely. I’ve had a brilliant night and can’t wait to come back to try more amazing food thank you so much.

Visited a couple of times now including Sunday lunch. Lovely home prepared food on a proper pub setting that is getting taste to find these days. Very pleasant hosts and thoroughly recommend.

A warm welcome and tasty food. Our seven year-old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her whitebait and then ice cream! We recommend a visit. Charlie was rather cute too!

Took the MIL for lunch, lovely roasts, great desserts, (included with the price of the mains). service pleasant and quick, and all at reasonable prices. Allowed our dog in and the pub dog is very friendly too. Good atmosphere, and we will return. Booking essential for Sunday lunch.

A lovely old fashioned pub. Nice menu and good to see the chef in actual chef whites, a rarity these days. Lovely atmosphere and warm and pleasant staff. Hope to return.

A gorgeous little pub with managed by a friendly polite couple. We went for a family birthday meal. The menu choice was great and the food was excellent standard and for one in a gastro pub, reasonably priced. Loads of dessert choice too with some seriously delicious choices. Charlie the dog also stole our hearts! Thanks again :-)

Went for Easter Sunday Lunch with family and had a wonderful time. A great and friendly welcome, food was freshly prepared and served hot. A great roast with a lovely selection of vegetables and all homemade desserts looked very appetising. The food was very good value for two courses and there was a wonderful selection of beers on draft. All staff were extremely friendly and very efficient. We always visit The Haywain when staying with family in Littlebourne and are never disappointed

Food was lovely, been many times. Service can occasionally be a little slow when it's busy but this is to be expected. For me to rate this 5 star I feel like slightly more spacious seating is needed a long with a couple more members of staff. Overall everyone is friendly and the food is amazing!
