Lovely family pub. Had a great 3 night stay to see some nearby family. The room was comfortable, clean and homely. Staff were all brilliant, the food was great and brilliant selection of beer & wine. Will be back!
Recently attended the British Motor Show for 5 days as a trader, staying at a another local pub in Bramley, which did not do food in the evening. We tried the Jolly Farmer and ate hear for three of our four nights. It would have been four, but they could not fit us in on one night! Fabulous food, go

Staying locally and this is the best pub in the area by miles. 6 real ales on hand pump, some local and a few further afield. Lovely ambience with loads of old brewery memorabilia and pump clips. I recommend the beef and mushroom pie with proper shortcrust pastry. A real gem of a pub that you don’t
Lovely food and not too expensive. Definitely value for money. Good choice of beers. Highly recommended after my first ever visit on 23/09/23
Stunning village pub. Just a short stop for a drink after helping setup for bonfire night but will definitely go back for a longer visit & a meal
Had a quick overnight stay here. Staff super friendly, helpful and professional on arrival. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and well appointed overall. Wi-Fi worked well too. Didn't get a chance to sample drinks/food from the pub but the bar/restaurant area looked clean, well laid out and a nic
What a jolly pub! The work that has gone into this place, the love and the look, all say what a great atmosphere. We visited when there was a carvery. Superb. Everyone felt a part of the team and the food and choice of ales was amazing. I'd give it more than 5 stars. Go see for yourself. By the
We had very good food: salad with haloumi cheese, parsnip soup ( amazing) and sauteed shrimp. Cold beer and great waitress. Thank you all for the good time
Excellent Sunday roast lunch with my family. Very hospitable landlord, pub has been in same family for over 50 years. Wide range of good beers etc.
Great pub and bnb best part is its dog friendly inside and out, great staff, the rage if drinks are fantastic there's something there for all types of drinkers and the food is just great all fresh and great tasting.
Called in for a pint following walk on old railway line. Excellent choice of ales. Friendly staff. Beware of man in duck suit selling raffle tickets. Lovely old fashioned pub with wonky floors.
An unplanned stop after a long walk with the dogs around Blackheath Common turned our to be a fanstastic lunch. Dogs were cared for with fresh water, treats, and cuddles. And we had delicious fish and chips and nut roast, with a lovely looking and tasting Pimms. A place to return to more often. PS:
We stayed for two nights and were happy with our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed for two nights for a family wedding- couldn’t recommend more highly, great place to relax, warm welcome, friendly and professional throughout. Thank you.
I've only ever been for drinks but it's always been pleasant. The staff are friendly and the glasses are clean. What more could you want!?
