Great venue, a little on the more expensive side but honestly worth it for the general atmosphere and fresh tasting food. Staff were kind aswell.
Got a pint of Moretti and a fish pie. Food was delicious, and tasted home-made, food was also piping hot.

Think we may have chosen a bad day for lunch, Monday, it was very quiet. Steak pie was lovely but, disappointed that they had no fish at all. Staff were very pleasant.

I used to enjoy it more when it had character, it's a nice pub but now a little clinical. Beer is great, staff are fab but it's lost its small village appeal. That said I will be back.

There wasn’t anything vegan on the Sunday menu, but we were told they could do us a vegetable stew with cheeze dumplings and it was really delicious, our 2 year old loved it too.

Lovely meal, and friendly staff, nice and quiet to chill and have a nice meal, we ate here prior to flying from leeds, really enjoyed our meal, chicken in white wine & cream sauce with rice, & the steak pie with FRESH veg was lovely too.

Was around this area for a few days. Had the burger doubled up with bacon. Was really nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Very friendly staff, fit us in without a reservation. Good drinks range. Lots of free parking. We walked out to Eccup and Golden Acre Park before eating, which made my Steak and Ale pie taste even better.
