Love this place. Most of the weekends I am going there for a drink or a meal with my boyfriend. Beautiful environment as well as great food there. Always I enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly bar staff, Especially "Alistair" (hope its his correct name) . Beautiful and gorgeous place for wine and dine with your partner or family... loving the place �
This was our third visit, the first two on a boating holiday, and it didn't disappoint. We were here for my birthday lunch on one of the hottest days of the year but sadly no sun. However, the food and service were very good and the staff are friendly. We did have to wait for our food due to staff shortages but the steak was excellent when it arrived so no complaints. The flourless chocolate cake is to die for!
Not been for years but it was recommended to us so now I will recommend to others. Had a lovely lunch outside by the river. The fish and chips were excellent. Will be back.
Food as lovely couldn’t fault it, staff were very friendly would highly recommend, great moorings if your on a boat �

Just had an amazing lunch, prawn and crayfish ciabatta and hubby had the burger, best meal we have had on the broads and the service from the staff was fab. Thank you guys, we will see you again when we are back in September hopefully if the tides are in our favour

Fantastic afternoon and we were well looked after by the attentive owner. Mooring booked for our boat and then some beautifully cooked food and great drinks. Would recommend to visit this waterside Gem.
Such a Beautiful setting on the river with a very lovely menu and professional service. If you're looking for something special this is it. Certainly not your average pub grub �
Lovely pub. They were very busy and we hadn’t booked - just coming in cold from a rainy day in the river. They still managed to get us in. Outdoor pod with heating and it was lovely. Food was great (Sunday roast), with plenty of meat and the starters we had were great too.
We pooped in for lunch on a chilly winters day. The service, atmosphere and staff were all excellent. I had the perfectly sized chicken and leek pie of the day and hubby had butlers steak with blue cheese sauce. Both were very tasty and would recommend both. Will definitely go again
We booked a table at the Waters Edge as part of our holiday on the broads. The staff were lovely over email and helped us make sure there was a mooring reserved for our boat when we arrived. We ended up getting there a bit early but still managed to moor up and just spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine and the beer!
The food was excellent - full menu is served inside, with a smaller menu outside.
The meal was excellent, great food for vegans as well as carnivores, and extremely friendly and attentive staff.
There was a very loud party outside who were playing music and swimming, but they weren't really causing much bother just having fun (apparently it was an annual gathering!). In the evenings there are water skiing boats that depart from the jetty so it was quite fun watching them coming and going into the evening!
Really lovely place to spend the evening, not cheap but we really did appreciate the great food and service.
Swung by here this morning for a birthday Guinness! We sat out the front and enjoyed the passing boats! The young lady that served us was really polite and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we stayed and ordered lunch. I had the ribs which were HUGE and my Wife had the crab which was delicious. Massive thanks for having us!
Fantastic experience! The cocktail menu is fabulous! They even had special cocktails as it was Halloween season, were so tasty! Had a lovely meal of a starter and a main... Amazing tasting food with beautiful presentation. The service from the waiter/waitresses was top notch. Highly recommend if you fancy something a bit fancier than pub grub, but not obnoxious. Will be visiting again and can't wait!
Had a fantastic birthday meal. The food and service was excellent. Not to mention the cocktails😋. We had the pooch with us so sat outside in one of the pods, they are great and sheltered us from a shower. Thanks for making my day special 👍
Beautiful Riverside views, atmosphere is chilled and peaceful, reasonable menu choices with a large drink selection. Staff are friendly, service is a little slow. Ideal place to visit if you want a quiet meal and aren't in a rush
We docked and were immediately greeted with a friendly face helping us tie up. Outside initially for some drinks, served by very attentive staff and then later inside for some food. Outstanding meal and every bit as good as the reviews said it would be. We stayed overnight moored up at no charge. Loved the visit and will definitely return if we're on that stretch of the broads again. Thank you for a great experience. Note, this establishment is Full Covid safe. No concerns at any point.

Fantastic service... Very nice location, scenery from outside is great... Loads of options/menu variety. Nice food presentation/plating but most importantly taste really good... everything that we ordered were all delicious most specially the Lobster...Will definitely visit again...
Stopped here for lunch after a walk. We sat outside next to the river, the location couldn’t be any better. Excellent food and great service. Will definitely visit again in future.
My friends and I shared an excellent celebratory evening meal at the Water Edge. Jill and her friendly team were very welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Highly recommend! FYI the feather of beef was outstanding!
Lovely lunch after a canoe trip. We were a group of 9 and food was served quickly and was all lovely.
Even got a lift in to town as there were no taxis, so service was above and beyond!

Finest champagne by the glass from secret wine cellar accompanied by Canadian Lobster and lamb cutlets all served by the friendliest lady and owner. This place is a real hidden gem of South Norfolk and all in a perfect woodland river setting. Welcome dogs in wooden pods and lots of outside seating with jazz playing over speakers. Real romance folks but its a good idea to book and you can even dock your boat if you ask nicely !
This is what I came for and this is exactly what I got!! Couldn’t be happier with the food or service.
The restaurant is dog free, however there are lovely pods in the garden.
Plenty of cover if it rains. Next time I will eat inside just to check it out.

Incredible food, honestly way above and beyond the normal pub food experience. Lovely staff, very understanding and friendly able to cater for dietary requirements such as gluten free and vegan.
Cannot recommend highly enough, definitely worth going out of your way to visit.
Delicious food, amazing service and a great atmosphere. Very glad we finally visited again after our first date nearly 14 years ago. The place has certainly changed but so have we - married with two kids.
