Great service. Warm welcome. Owner remembered our family from a visit over 8 months ago. Food is authentic and cooked to order. So don't expect a rapid turn around. Honestly, one of the best eating experiences in North Essex.

Hadn't been for a while (cannot for the life of me remember why!) but we revisited for a few meals recently and we couldn't be more impressed with the beautiful food. From Balti to Pathia and an array of sides everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken (unlike many others locally) is tender and the flavours delicious. Service friendly and amenable too.The Raj Garden will be our Indian restaurant of choice for the foreseeable and is the unsung jewel in the crown locally. Really outstanding.
Seems like a good restaurant as my boyfriend uses them regularly but it was all too hectic at last night's NYE event. The food at the buffet wasn't labelled, which would have been very helpful. Enjoyed the fireworks at the end!
Very impressed. First time visit, but will be back regularly. A lovely little family run restaurant. Great service, amazing food and very friendly. A little gem. 100% recommend this place.
We recently used the Raj Garden to cater our party.
They supplied all of the equipment to keep the food warm, arrived promptly on the day and most importantly provided excellent food, which everyone commented on how good it was.

Mainly used for take away/delivery and always our number one choice having tried a number of curry houses in the area. Food consistently great, particularly the hot naga specials. Delivery usually prompt, but can find ordering via phone a bit of a trial, particularly if the restaurant is busy and noisy. Speak up guys! On the whole, for the food, the Raj is highly recommended.
The Raj Garden is based in an old pub building. We have eaten there 4 or 5 times now and every time the service and meal have been great. The staff have always been happy to make changes to the standard menu selections so on one occasion a vindaloo was enhanced with extra chili for a friend that likes it hot. The additions apparently really enhanced the taste.
They were also happy to allow me to have Chicken and Lamb mix on my meal.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff that are happy to go out of their way to help and great food. What more could you want? Highly recommended
Lovely family run village restaurant. If you want somewhere away from the crowds and a really nice dining experience, I'd recommend this restaurant. Lovely food too and reasonable cost

Amazing food delivered tonight...service was fantastic from the bloke who took my call as well as the delivery guy. Will be using Raj Garden from now on!!!
The food is always first class, delivery or takeaway at present but when you can eat in the service is great you always feel special
Had a takeaway last night which was fantastic, food arrived quickly and still very hot. Could not fault it.
