A lovely cafe slap bang in the centre of town. You can sit outside in the Museum courtyard overlooking the Town Hall with it's nice new garden, the market square and the shiny new health centre and hotel building. A really nice spot to stop for a snack.

My friend and I had breakfast this morning and the bacon was lovely and plenty of it, very good value for money. We went to toasts last Saturday for the first time and was very disappointed, I think they forgot to put the bacon in the toast, will definitely not be going back, too expensive. Will def

Our first time in Braintree so before our train home we had time. Seats very comfortable. Had a lovely pomegranite tea. The carrott cake was the best I have had in England. Lovely and moist and great cream cheese frosting...not too sweet.
