Good range of dishes at reasonable prices. Cooked well and good taste. Not overly oily as with some of the other Chinese restaurants in the area. We normally order by phone and then collect. Waiting times normally about 30 mins from ordering, which is good for the area.
Ordered at 5pm on a Friday food was delivered 5 30pm it was piping hot. All the dishes were cooked very well no soggy batter on the prawns.. the beef was tasty and not chewy and the spare ribs were great and not dry or tough and plenty of them in the portion. Really enjoyed the food after being recommended by my daughter. Food was delivered on time and had plenty of fresh veg in aswell. I will definitely order from here again.
This was taken over by new owners on march 1st. The food is amazing . Not greasy at all and very quick delivery. Friendly staff. Its no longer China village. It's the hot wok. Staff are very helpful . Definitely recommend it
Delivery was so quick! I felt bad because I'd just moved in and didn't have spare change for a tip, but I was very impressed with the speed of delivery and how good the food was. Highly recommended and possibly my new favourite Chinese!
First time using this place and it was the best chinese we have had locally. Delivery within 30 mins!! The chicken was soft and not chewy, tasted better quality. The whole meal was just moorish. I will def be back China Village!!!
Been ordering food from here for a few years now and it’s always been superb, I tend to stick with a few of the same dishes and periodically try something different, decided to opt for the Cantonese style sweet and sour pork tonight and it was so good I wished I had ordered more, highly recommend t

been ordering from here for years, seen some rubbish reviews on here and I'm surprised, this is by far the best chinese in braintree. Basically if you're after an indian you go to balti nights, the nuts of indian food. In the same way, if you want a proper chinese you go to china village Always deli
Our go to takeaway Chinese in Braintree. Always really good food and delivered within eta. The Sweet and Sour dishes are really good and not sickly sweet like other places. Quality of all dishes is very good.
