I think it's only fair to start this review and get straight to the point. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this pub is! From the outside, you get the impression it's a bit dpit and sawdust. How wrong I was!

Only stayed for 1 drink but seemed a nice atmosphere in there. Although it did kick off by a gentleman called Daryl and he did punch and rip another gentleman t-shirt. We will visit again though.
Traditional pub with well kept real ales, lately from Bishop Nick brewery, which if a few doors away. Large beer garden and friendly, efficient staff.
Didn't have food , but very friendly staff
it is so much better now it has been redecorated and the manager and his team are very friendly and made us feel very welcome as new clients we will definitely be going back and hopefully will take friends as well 😊
Lovely pub with new owners they're really making a change to the old pub the landlady Jo is a great character full of life
Nice little local, pool table, darts and lots of space outside with sheltered seating.
Brilliant old fashioned pub,amazing landlady....awesome food(filled rolls cheese and pickle ham and Turkey and stuffing) and beer and a very cheeky tea with macaroons for me(wonderful surprise).

Great pub, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. There is also an excellent quiz there every other Wednesday night.
Nice pub, choice of 4 ales plus larger .Desperate games room, and has a recently done up outdoor seating area .
