Wanted something different as my mum is fussy... we had a lovely unrushed afternoon tea. The barns are quite informative 👍 they have a small museum type place on site. We will be going to other Tiptree tea rooms to try those too.

A great place to eat and have a drink! We did have to wait for a while since the place was full of people. But the food tasted great. And when you share a meal with friends from church it gets even better! We also got a few presents from our friends here. The orange marmalade is excellent! It is the best I have tasted so far.Highly recommend their products.. Enjoy the place..we surely did...

Absolutely love going to the Barns Tea room- either for coffee and catch up with friends or a spot of lunch. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and added bonus is that you can peruse the Tiptree produce too!! Would definitely recommend ...especially going for a walk around the grounds too! The walled garden is beautiful and it's sooo peaceful there too! At the moment they are serving Winter Ploughmans...wow! This was sooo nice and presented beautifully! Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyable visit on a rainy day. Had lunch and it was excellent, good value. Nice atmosphere and very good service. Small display of tiptree products for sale as well. Look forward to going back.

Very nice little tea room, had jacket potato with prawns and mum quiche Lorraine. Delicious and friendly service, got quite busy around 1 so would advise to book

Nice lunch out with my stepmum here the other day, pleasant staff, nice food, good options, I had a tuna melt which had some salad on the side which was nice and fresh and a complimentary onion relish/chutney which was so delicious I had to buy more to take home! Environment clean and bright/open, quiet and calm. Very nice and had 'of the day' options on their menu and a nice selection, plenty of parking outside and felt like a nice little escape.

Nice airy barn. I imagine very nice for afternoon tea. Was fairly empty in the morning but obviously gets busy around lunchtime. Although my friends toasted sandwich was fine it was a shame the beans in my breakfast were overcooked (reheated too many times) and where the menu said 'eggs' they meant one egg.

We were there for a Celebration of Life after the funeral service. They catered to the vegetarian, non vegetarian and gluten free members of our party. We had a private room but they checked on us occasionally but left us to our devices which is what we wanted. Thank you, I would recommend .

Luckily we booked a table for 3, arriving at midday, by 12.30 the tearoom was fairly full. Food was very good and the service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent, it was the second funeral wake ,I went to, they made us sandwiches of all kinds, cakes, scones with cream and tiny pots of jam. It was delicious. And it all started with a nice cup of coffee just how you like it. And we were able to have a nice chat with our food. They also do meals as well as functions. I highly recommend this place!

What a lovely birthday celebration! Warm welcome, delicious food, beautiful peaceful setting, & wonderful staff, who kindly took group pictures of our family get-together. It was so good to be able to all be together again! A special “thank you” goes to the 2 ladies who served us. We will be back!

Small stock of Wilkinson's preserves & relishes, like pineapple jam. Pleasant staff, pleasant area for tea & cake inside & out. Staff coped well with our coach party arriving at 3pm when they had just coped with afternoon tea for he party. Well done!
