Fresh and extremely tasty fish and chips. For me, one of the best places for fish and chips in Braintree. The prices are very good, the portions are huge and the food is of high quality and the staff was very friendly.
Ordered from here today, thought we'd give it a go based on current reviews (obviously previous reviews work!)
Cod was absolutely excellent and large was more than enough for one, batter was lovely and crispy. The chips were nice, not too soggy, portion size was enough to feed a family on a medium
Five years ago it was a no for me but this place has improved so much. People should give it a go.
Nicely refurbished. Excellent curry rolls, good sausage. Average chips. Cash only so won't be a regular visitor.
Food was hot on delivery, asked for a medium cod and was ample. Large chips did two of us and a few for the dog 🐕. Never had the food delivered before but so pleased, arrived on time and driver polite and was surprised she got a tip. Will be ordering again.

As a regular customer I really enjoy the quality of the food they serve. Like many places they have had to increase their prices so it is no longer the reasonably priced meal it once was.
Was pleasantly surprised by the food,could fault the fish was lovely and fresh with nice batter and chips were good, curry sauce could of been a bit thicker but was still tasty

Really good quality fish and chips. Not too greasy or heavy and the batter is just right. The cod is really nice and fresh tasting too. The two brothers who run it are friendly and its not a rip off compared to some other chippys nearby which arent as good but charge more. Id say this is even better

Don't usually use this chippie but as I was in town did so today. Helpful staff. Had to wait about 5 minutes while cooked before I could head home. Tasty fish, chips good
