Perfect for parents with children as the park is next door.

There is one hour parking on the road out front or pay and display in town a short walk away.
I removed my previous review as I reviewed on my expectations rather than the food on the menu. Have been with a friend this morning for an English breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. saw this place a few times passing through the gardens but never went in. decided today was the day so i went in. service was lovely and the girls were quick and friendly. my hot chocolate and muffin were definitely worth the 5 star. i would give 6 if i could. if you’re in the area i highly recommen
Lovely and quaint tea room, staff very friendly and helpful.Lots of choice for children and they even have colouring books and crayons for little ones. Had the most amazing hot chocolate here, my husband had a mocha and said it was the best he had ever had! Will definitely be returning.

Gorgeous little coffee house in the beautiful setting of a park. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and brought out with a smile. The coffee was as good as I've ever had, and worth the trip alone! All the while I could sit in their delightful garden and watch the kids playing on the apparatus
Beautiful gardens, peaceful,quiet and tranquil, somewhere to watch nature at its finest. Play area for the little ones but gardens large enough to get away from their playful chattering, add to that great food and drink. What more could you ask for on a warm summer day.
GREAT CAFE IN A STUNNING PARK. The Braintree and Bocking gardens are lovely and peaceful, a great place to take children and the cafe is comfortable and welcoming. Can't wait for everything to reopen so we can sit down and enjoy some cake and coffee again.
Nice place for a cup of coffee, they even serve expresso coffee correctly, namely with a glass of water to clear the pallete,, a rare occurrence in the UK.
