We often go to the mulberry for family get togethers or breakfast. The food is good value and its great as the little ones can play in the soft play area or outside. I would recommend as a family place to eat

Enjoyed a lovely meal here for my dad's birthday last night. I havnt very been well so couldn't eat an adults meal so the waitresses made suggestions about what i could have and were very helpful. Friendly staff and we were laughing all night. Thank you for everything.

Wonderful service, Alison is very friendly and attentive. My meal last night 13/09/23 was nothing short of perfect. I am told chef Harry was responsible for my meal and every item in my smother platter (including medium rare steak) was cooked to perfection. I have stayed at premier Inn and eaten here many times over the last few years, I have historically found it to be hit a miss but the last few times I have been I have found each visit better than the last. Really impressed 👍

Lovely food and so many vegan options. Staff were very pro active in asking about food intolerance and my own in particular. They checked if using cooking oil for another product would affect the food I had ordered that was going to be cooked in that oil. Absolutely brilliant. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was served hot, and the deals were excellent, 2 mains for £9.99 and add dessert or starter for £2.49 each. Will go there again despite being a fair distance from home. Well done Mulberry Tree, so rare to find a place where there is wheelchair access with all the advantages mentioned above. Thank you👏✔️

We booked a large table for fifteen of us including small children for a family celebration and we were able to choose the table next to an internal window onto the excellent kids’ soft play area. There is also an outdoor playground. The food and service was great and excellent value and adults and kids alike had a great time!

Pat, Ken, Hayley and the team were brilliant and so welcoming. We had family visiting so we were a party of 7 adults and 3 children. All the food came together and was much enjoyed. Definitely the place to go with youngsters who need to use up energy with the indoor soft play and the outside park.

Food is what you'd expect from this sort of chain. Some of the carvery veg had obviously been sitting out for a while but when asked if there was any fresher stuff it was brought out. They were very overwhelmed today, understaffed and it seemed like they must have had a mad rush in the early afternoon. Our table was booked for 4pm. The beef was sold out, turkey was having the last few slices carved off as we ordered and the only thing left was gammon which took another 5 minutes til it was ready which probably done about 15 plates They done the best they could, the staff were having to run between taking orders and serving customers due to low staff so well done to them as must have been stressful. Children were pleased with their choices and enjoyed the play areas. Probably the only negative is the desserts. The children's desserts are 99p which is good but my teen ordered the triple brownie dessert off the adult menu which was 4.99, it was a tiny bit bigger than the 99p one that my younger child ordered and came with chocolate sauce but not 4 quids worth 🤷🏻‍♀️ so maybe order kids desserts if you're going to pick chocolate brownies and ice cream 😉

Food and service excellent, clean and tidy staff were smart a shame the car park was full of works vans and cars making the place look busy but only a few people in restaurant, works vans and cars should have a designated spot away from the restaurant allowing access for restaurant userers.

Popped in for a quick meal, food was very good, so was the service. Was busy but didn't have to wait long for food.

Stopped here on the way to Norfolk for breakfast and it was 1st class, my only moan is that the mushrooms where a told cold. Apart from that the staff and atmosphere are amazing.

This is a mixed review. On the positive they found us a table without a booking and it looked quite busy. The food was filling and really tasty. The staff polite and the place was clean and spaced out. On the negative side the smoke from those smoking outside drifted in and was off putting. Then there was the lack of everything. You could have a specific meal but it might be missing bits or swapped for a substitute. For instance no bacon. 3 small Yorkshire's instead of the advertised large single one. The unlimited drinks only offered the coke option. When people booked a meal you could hear staff explaining the many changes, they must have had a hard time remembering it all! But otherwise it was fine. As the food was nice, (pub food) I'd go again, but would now know what to expect. You have been warned.

Sam and the team especially the carvery team couldn't have handled my gluten free requirements any better. A great quick carvery, delicious..

First time visit to this restaurant, generally it was a positive experience for us, service was excellent and food was of a good standard, it was a shame it wasn't busy then the atmosphere would have been better.

i was staying away with work and we were given meal deal tickets to go down and have some bait included in our work trip, we never expect these places to be very good but we were massively wrong. I explained to Ellis that i was autistic and had a few requests about how the food and drinks were made and he was nothing but understanding and accommodating to my requests, and when the food and drinks were given to me they were exactly as requested, I couldn't have been more thankful. i was also served by Allison, Kris and Sam who were attentive, kind and hard working, cracking a funny joke here and there, having great banter with us. the food was also amazing, I had the haddock which was absolutely spot on, compliments to the lads and ladies in the kitchen. I genuinely hope this makes it to the higher ups as the whole experience was made great by all of your team, thank you guys.

We went to the Mulberry tree last Friday to celebrate our grandsons birthday he’s 3 and we wanted somewhere where he could play safely with his friends they have areas both inside and out ( which is great whatever the weather) and all for free, Is was fairly busy being the start of half term but the staff coped really well and were very attentive The food was great I had a 14oz Ribeye 🥩 which with chips tomato onion rings etc cost less than £15 and was cooked perfectly lots of choices on the menu all reasonably priced my friends would recommend the ultimate burgers 🍔 make sure you are really hungry 😋 mostly between £7 and £10 I was driving so soft drinks you pay for one glass and have as much as you like from as self help dispenser great for the kids as well The team brought out the cake at the end of the meal for Henry ( which my wife had baked and brought with us) which was a great end to a lovely time at the Mulberry tree we will be going back.
