We came for a leisurely family meal, 8 adults, 3 under 10, 2 well-behaved dogs. Our waitress' Ruby and Saffron were attentive, friendly & polite. The manageress Carmen checked in a few time's giving time to make sure everything was OK. Being such a large party service was a little slow, and 1 dinner order was missed, this was very quickly put right.
The restaurant was clean, tidy and a very pleasant atmosphere, plenty of toilets available and all working.
Parking is free for 6 hours, can be extended by guest services during shopping hours.
I have not been to Bill's for about two years now. So, I decided to go for dinner today. The food was so delicious and amazing. I ordered lobster and seafood linguine, and it was the BEST pasta dish that I have ever had in my life. The seafood was very fresh and sweet. I have to give them a 10/10 for that delicious food and indoor decoration. It was a great atmosphere and a great place to visit.
Went out for dinner quite late. They said the kitchen would be closing in 10mins so we quickly ordered. Seafood pasta was lovely, in hindsight I wish I ordered some sort of bread to mop the sauce up with! Had the flower pot cheesecake for dessert. Was amazing 😍highly recommend.
I must mention Carmen. This lady goes out of her way to ensure the whole Bills experience is brilliant. She sorted out any problems as I ordered porridge that could have been better, she exchanged it for another dish, no fuss. She is a great ambassador for Bills, make sure she is recognised! Thank you 😊
Staff lovely! We did have issues with food missing pretty vital items (eg poached egg on toast missing the egg) but resolved by staff quickly.
They had a dog menu and were super pet friendly.
I will start by saying this place has one of the best coffees I have ever tried! I was impressed! I compare places for breakfast and brunch based on their Eggs Benedict and to be precise on the way they make their Hollandaise sauce. This place has a very nice light and fluffy Hollandaise! The eggs were done properly as well! Pancakes also look mouthwatering especially those with bacon and maple syrup. You can upgrade your breakfast or brunch with a great variety of add-ons for a reasonable price. This place also offers unlimited Prosecco brunch 🥂🍾. Make a reservation in advance because it tends to get quite busy after 11 am. The staff was polite and service was quick! Overall, a pretty nice and cosy place with reasonable priced food and drinks that is actually delicious!
Great brunch, great service.Wanted to nominate our waiter but I don't have his name. He desperately wants to win the stack of pancakes. Maybe if I describe him as the tallest and happiest waiter we had. My wife tried green latte coffee thing, ohbejeezus.....don't. I really don't know who on gods earth came up with this concoction but it should not be on anyones menu, let alone Bills. So our tall happy waiter said don't worry I'll get it changed for you madam. No bother and with a smile. Not only should he win the pancakes, he should get a raise.

Had a lovely visit to braintree bills the staff were so friendly and the food was lovely. I was served by Charlotte who was professional and friendly and had great customer service. 👌 I had a lovely time and will definitely return 😊
We popped in for drinks and dessert this evening. Service was swift, Jake our server was very polite and had a super knowledge of the menu. He was more than happy to accommodate us inside the restaurant when it got abit chilly to sit outside! Thanks for a lovely evening.
We come here a lot as it does eggs Benedict which I love. Shout out to Jaqs who is a fantastic waitress.
Amazing place to eat . We had the all day brunch and bills burger . The child had Mac and cheese and chips . Brunch was excellent and burger is best I have eaten . Kids eat free with adult meal so was great value . Inside decor was great and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Great place and a well wort a visit .

My other half and I popped to Bills for a late lunch on Sunday. We both had mains only on this occasion, my other opting for the chicken shawarma and I the buttermilk chicken burger.
Not sure what happened in the kitchen as some of my chicken was missing, however I spoke to our server Jacqs who was very quick to suggest for me keep enjoying the one I had whist the kitchen prepared another breast. I had not even thought about that being an option, however it made a difference as it meant I didnt sit waiting without food as some other restaurants would take your dish to be swapped there and then.
A few moments later Jaqs returned not only with a new breast but instead a whole new burger. This was fantastic, I said that she could take away the current one that I hadnt even got half way through and enjoyed the new one. Well, me and my partner did as I did start ed on the first!
All in all, a lovely lunch, food was great, even if there was a minor hiccup, however with Jaqs’s quick work and lovely personality, it really didnt tarnish our experience.
The staff were friendly and helpful when we visited. The service was quick and efficient and the quality of the food was very good.
Wasn't best I've had...
I was unhappy with thr fact that when I asked for bill... I got cash to pay then I get told its card only.. I think this is something they should lead with as someone comes in.
Food was OK... I asked for a medium done burger and it come more rare... chips was nice... the macaroni cheese wasn't nice for me... had a weird flavour to it.
Service was OK... I sort of had to get thr attention of someone as they didn't come near where they seated us..
