We stopped by as we explored Royal Deeside. The staff were fantastic and really friendly despite having such a busy day! The food was brilliant: especially the pork pie - I think I’ll be hard pressed to find another as tasty! Lovely wee place: we really enjoyed our little pit stop there!
Lovely place with great staff. We had a nice soup of the day (African spiced with sweet potato and red pepper) and a cullen skink with the best cheese scone of all times!
Very nice tea room. Stopped here for breakfast after a few days walking in the Cairngorms, really nice staff and nicely decorated. Not a huge amount of choice for breakfast but it tasted great and came quickly.
Nice vegan burger, lovely chips. They have a good selection of loose leaf teas, which are also delicious. Very friendly staff and fast service. I'd come here again.
Lovely little coffee shop restaurant. Bright and modern inside with good choice of hot and cold food and drink. Main reason we stopped here was it advertised as dog friendly. Amazing scones and the cullen skink soup was delicious!
My wife and I just had a great lunch at Gordon's Tearoom. Cullen Skunk was the best I've ever tasted and the cheese scones heavenly. Very friendly staff who made us (and our yellow lab) feel very welcome. Next time we're up in this area, well be back!
Absolutely perfect. We had the full breakfast and the butternut squash/sweet potato soup. Delicious. Very friendly staff and affordable.
Steak sandwich was amazing and coffees hit the spot

Had an absolutely lovely full breakfast here after camping in the rain. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
Friendly staff, limited menu choice but great quality of food
Minister for Finance and I pulled in for a late lunch on a really wet and blowy day. Great to hear an Australian voice, the coffee was excellent, the cheese scones delicious and the breakfast scone was a positive something else. The Minister had the soup which was much to her liking. The prices in
Had an excellent lunch here after a walk round the Morrone Birkwood on a dreich Sunday with our 2 dogs. Great soup and scones, good coffees and friendly service and dogs are welcome (they each got a large dog biscuit). Recommended.
Fantastic. We are visiting from Wiltshire to nearby Ballater. The staff were super friendly and welcoming especially to our 2 daughters (1 & 6 years). So personable and I don't think we have ever received a warmer welcome. Special mention to the Australian woman who worked there (we didnt catch her
