Really lovely pub with lots of character, we were made to feel welcome and seated to a table straight away. The staff were very nice and helpful and food was perfect. Will def recommend and visit again .
Went for lunch today, can only say how good it was. Friendly service from start to finish, great new menu and as for the food...... awsome! We had the southern fried chicken burger and the smoker burger. Both were cooked to perfection with crisp French fries, and served so nicely on enamel/tin style plates with a mug of fries! Unconventional but it works. Great value as well, really impressed!
Me and my boyfriend came to Isle Of Wight for the day, spent most the day driving around as it was our first time to the island, we were very exhausted and drained and we just drove to the nearest pub closest. It was amazing! It made our day so much better, I ordered the bugle inn burger with cheesy chips and my boyfriend ordered steak - I can't stop telling my friends & family how nice the food was! It was spot it 👍🏽 Service was good and fast. Not sure if I'd return purely because next time we go to the island we'd go somewhere else for the day! But if I do il come back here! Thank you! 😊
After having a terrible meal at our resort we decided on looking for somewhere nearby to try. On arrival the staff where very friendly and even went to the local shop to purchase green tea for my partner. The food was amazing and arrived quickly would highly recommend you try here!
Absolutely lovely menu is great, a wide range of choices. Carvery was beautiful soft juicy meats and crunchie roast pots . Had burgers with chips no grease on the plate so clean. Nice price to ,staff are fab and friendly and welcome dogs and kids outside play area is great to.
We had the carvery. Both the food and service were excellent. Nice varied menu. Just what a pub serving grub should be. We will definitely return many times 💯✔️✔️✔️✔️

I haven't been here for years , as I had a bad experience food whys. But WOW what a difference, amazing tasty food, great presentation. Great customer service. Really nice and cosy layout. Really really impressed. I would highly recommend coming here. We are coming back for a carvery on Sunday. Great pudding to .My daughter is a vegetarian and very fussy, and a picky eater, but all we had was clean plates and full Bellies. We will be back.

Had Sunday Lunch Carvery. The choice of meats and veggies was great. Service was great, even though it was busy and the atmosphere was lovely and friendly, noisy but not in an invasive way at all - lots of families, couples - young and old, small groups all enjoying themselves. I didn't notice any single diners but feel that I could quite happily have dined there on my own.
Although it was busy, there was plenty of parking, and we had a disabled space just by the gate. I use a crutch for mobility and was able to get to our table easily. Disabled toilet facilities were fine too.
There is a huge selection of food including plenty of options for people with dietary requirements. It is also lovely having a small indoor soft play area for the children to keep them entertained (as most parents will know, they often get bored sitting at a table waiting for food!)
Also it is great to find a pub that offers more than just chicken nuggets and food for the children! There were lots of options and our children enjoyed a chickpea and sweet potato curry with rice and peas.
The best Sunday lunch we have had on the island and we have been coming here for 30 years but for some reason have not tried the bugle but now we have we deffo will be back.
Fantastic food in a lovely pub. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! The lasagne came with garlic bread and chips. The kids meal was just right for my 10 year old daughter. Will definitely be visiting again.
Good hearty and enjoyable food, with a menu catering for all tastes. Carvery on a Sunday, and Curry and Pie nights alongside the standard menu on Tuesdays and Fridays respectively. Friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious inside, with a family area at the back, a good back garden, and plenty of parking. Looking forward to our next visit.
My visit was a Sunday carvery lunch. Very busy at 1.30, with most tables in use, so would recommend booking. Servery was very efficient, with choice of small or large plate by purchasing ticket at the bar. Three meats available with stuffing and Yorkshire puddings. Large choice of vegetables to serve yourself, constantly topped up. Some people may find the busy noisy atmosphere with multiple TV screens a bit distracting. Overall good value Sunday carvery lunch. Other menu items are also available to order.
Menu not too extensive or expensive, options including vegetarian. The specials were good. I had lasagne, which was really tasty. Friends had steak and kidney pudding and leek and mushroom tart. Sticky toffee pudding and Brownie for dessert! Will be going again soon!
Lovely pub/restaurant. Family friendly, with a nice little play area for the kids. Food is delicious and cooked to a high standard. Definitely recommend! We went more than once. Reasonable prices too.
We went to The Bugle Inn pub restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday. Nice amount of people outside and in, not over run but quietly buzzing with noise. We were greeted by bar staff on entry, they asked us to choose a table and come back to the bar to order our food.
We explained we were gluten free and asked what they recommended. We chose Bugle chilli con carne and Sausage and mash. They double checked with chefs. We went back to our table and were brought nice refreshing fresh orange and lemonade drinks. Food didn't take too long at all and was very enjoyable. The staff were attentive but left us alone to eat. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch all round. Which is great as we are staying with Rellies in Brading 👌🏻

Great family meal out! If your looking for a quiet place this isn’t it, but it’s lovely to hear the children playing, lots for them to do, outdoor and indoor play areas, children’s books and everything lovely pool table, and amazing food, very big portions and very in expensive! Very quick service, only took ten minutes for four meals! :) lovely cat in the garden but does not like dogs!
Been here a couple of times now, do an incredible rump steak. Honestly the best meal out I've ever had. Great place, reasonable prices and great atmosphere 🥰
This is a special Pub with various different specials on, child friendly with out door area to play, dog friendly a family atmosphere. Staff very accomodating polite couldn't do enough for you. We made a few visits down to this Pub.
The Bugle on the Isle of Wight is a fantastic spot! Their carvery roast is excellent, a must-try. The indoor and outdoor children's areas keep kids entertained, while the pool is a hit with everyone else. Great family-friendly destination!
We've visited the Isle of Wight and ended up having a dinner here when the Pie special was on. I have to say one of the best pies (turkey and leek) I've had in years. Very generous serving and also the sides were spot on. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend stopping in for dinner and pints.
Got a large group in last minute, great service and friendly staff,great food,well presented. Park and soft play for children and reasonably priced,compared to some other pubs on the island .Will be back again.

Went for Sunday carvery today. The table that was reserved for us was not suitable and the young lady that greeted us changed our seating straight away with no fuss or embarrassment caused.
The carvery looked very nice and indeed it was. To my personal delight the food was hot and to my husbands the gravy was thick and tasty. Generous serving of meat and a good selection of veg, altogether a meal to be repeated.
We will be trying the pie night next.
