It's always nice to have dinner at Ambala when in Bradford, friendly staff and delicious food
My daughter always having ice cream and she say dady put comments on ice cream was yummy 🤣
Got delivery through Uber eats
Ordered Karahi Murgh (chicken) cannot fault the taste and portion size or the amount of chicken there was enough for 2 of us to share it tasted lovely non left over it is one of the nicest I have had in a long time the chapatti were warm on arrival and tasted good too
The only thing that let the food down was having to order all the chapatti separately as non are included with the Karahi which is a shame as other places include 3 the cost adds up when ordering them separately this is the only thing that let it down and why I gave 4 stars instead of 5
Many thanks to Ambala,
I have fallen in love with take aways once again.
I used Ambala many years ago, after some time away from eating out I was initially afraid that my generation of chefs had not only retired but the next generation wanting to make their own way rather than listen to the tradition and expertise handed down to them
Some get it right, many don't and I have seen well established venues go rapidly down hill
I needn't have worried,
the food was very good
Ambala set a high standard as they always have
and the care and attention is clearly evident
Ambala feels so much more than just a meal/take away making the experience more like a special occasion
Been coming here for years and the food is always great. Usually get the mix grill platter and meat karahi, so tasty and great value. Service is also usually good but today was next level with uncle Agha.
Falooda with kulfi really nice. Nice seating areas, a little dark in places but sometimes that ambience just looks good anyway.
Prices reasonable and will come again for sure. Service spot on.
Lovely Mixed Kebab roll. Nan was perfect, kebabs delicious and fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed
Was not happy with the Bradford branch of ambala, there's was hardly any mithai available over the last 2 weeks I visited twice and there was staff shortages and it took for ever on the 1st visit to get served. This branch could do with so customer service help from branches in London.
Really good overall experience. Service, food and overall decor was good, price was fair. One toilet for entire restaurant seems a little limiting but it didn't impact us.
Parking on Great Horton road can be a challenge but we luckily found a spot.
Initially, I thought it was a small Ambala shop, but it turns out it's also a restaurant with further space on the side for people wanting to sit and eat.
I ordered various Asian sweets and felt welcomed by the staff member taking my order.
We really enjoyed the sweets and the tres leche cake was yum!! The Asian sweets were on par :)
Good value mains. Starters aren't special. But the mains are on point and their naans are good too. Any space left and you gotta try their falooda.
*edit* recently went again during 50% eat out to help out - place was clean- ordered meat karahi and chicken with chana, was a little mild for me (asked for medium) next time will ask to be made hotter. The chicken pakora starter was suitable for kids and my daughter enjoyed it. I thought lamb boti starter was overdone/dry and needed more marinade.
One of the best food at Bradford certainly recommend others to taste the delicacy
