Food was really good although it did take a little time to come out. When it did come out we really enjoyed it. Would go again for sure. Friendly staff too.
Fantastic food, freshly cooked on real charcoal grill in an open kitchen - great to watch it all being put together if your sat downstairs. The freshness and quality is just obvious. Great for eating on your own and certainly ideal for groups and sharing between also. Spacious dining area, generous portions and very good value for money. Staff were really friendly and attentive also. Can't wait to go back soon!
Good quality charcoal-cooked Persian food, lovely staff and reasonably priced. It's a shame the toilets are up a spiral staircase as it makes matters less accessable. No parking also becomes annoying but there is on street parking close by. Not the best suited for disabled users but all things aside, a pleasant addition to Bradford's cultural cuisine. Definitely recommended
Fantastic food and a wonderful, warm reception from the host. Food was quick to arrive and we were also given a complimentary garlic pizza bread.
Also had Persian tea which went great with the starters. Wholly recommend this place if you enjoy Persian/Middle Eastern cuisine.
We went as a family at lunch time (12-4pm) so were able to get the reduced rate for the mains. At around £6 pp it was really worth it.
The traditional foods we tried were all good which included the lamb shank (cost extra), an aubergine/lamb curry and grilled lamb and steak. All came with chips, rice or naan. We ordered a pizza for £5 which was a good size but tasted okay not great.
The setting is reasonable. Would recommend for the lunch menu if you're nearby and is good for families or groups as well.
Came on a Saturday with my partner and ordered the lamb and chicken skewer (which came with rice and salad). I’m not a big meat eater but last time I visited the lamb was BEAUTIFUL, and this time was no different. Rice is also lovely. My partner ordered a bolognese burger, which was bolognese cooked into the middle of a bread roll (with chips). He said it was very good but a little dry - but he could have asked for ketchup! Staff are very nice. It was about £22 for the two of us - including drinks. Definitely recommend and will return.
Have visited Zeytoon several times and is hands down the best Persian restaurant ever. Great vegetarian selection and food is served promptly. Service is outstanding and needs are taken into account.
Was gutted to see that the place was shut and was put to let. Hopefully they will relocate and open elsewhere.
We've eaten here twice now and the food was perfectly cooked both times and the lamb and chicken were good quality. I can recommend the Barg, Chenjeh and Baktiari dishes and also the Zeytoon Mezeh which was a perfect size for three hungry people but would be adequate for 4 with smaller appetites. Service was friendly and prompt too.
The best Persian food we've ever had. Tender, juicy and flavoursome grilled meat, with delicately spiced, moreish dips. Service was excellent too, highly recommended.
I ordered the Koobideh with rice, and enjoyed eating them throughly. The kebabs were made fresh to order and tasted great! The manager/ boss was very friendly and welcoming.
I write this review as I visited the place a few ago and I promised the owner that I’ll leave a google review. I’ve been to Zeytoon 3 times now and every time I I’m blown away with the quality of food and service of the staff. The owner always recommends me different dishes all the time which is amazing and I look forward to my next visit 😊😊😊
