We were impressed by the lovely food, and very good service, a great improvement on the restaurant that was here before, we will definitely return.
Amazing home made bread yum, delicious and substantial starters ( crostini with goats cheese / sun dried tomatoes and the most delicious salad dressing / v good bruschetta ) and mains - spaghetti con salsiccia, broccoli, chilli / spaghetti amatriciana both full of flavour and reminded us of food we’ve eaten in Italy.
Nice prosecco and house wine and a little complimentary drink at end of meal.
The complimentary drink after our meal was a nice touch too, the waitress was very pleasant, and chef came to talk to us make sure all was well,

We visited this restaurant for the first time last night and had a fabulous time. Veronica, her husband and staff were all so welcoming and friendly, they gave our son a free drink, the food was superb and very reasonably priced and they gave us a complimentary dessert and liquor too! We will definitely return as they are such lovely people, was great service and great food!

Have eaten here twice the second time being Saturday and had lasagna. This is the best restaurant lasagna I have ever had. Usually it is swimming in bechamel and tomato sauce and it its so sloppy to eat. This is just like the lasagna my mum and dad used to make. All the food we had was great and there was a family atmosphere. Will definitely make a third visit.
Really delicious Italian cuisine with fantastic customer service. The portions are served generously and full of flavour. I had the bruschetta and a vegetarian pizza. I'd definitely go again for a tasty evening meal.
The waiters were very hospitable and the manager came out to greet us which I found very respectful. To top this off we got a 10% discount for being students. If you're craving an Italia meal then La Veronica is the place to go.

Really good food, the starters were all good portions, well cooked and really tasty. Very good service and felt genuinely italian. The main were less generous, no salad with the lasagne. £60 for four starters main and drinks.

Decent food from a small but well done menu. This is a good thing, much rather fewer well executed dishes than lots of average ones. Very good service also. We'll definitely be back.
Lovely food fantastic service. The staff was really friendly and made a real effort to engage with you. Wasn't rushed like you feel in most restaurants. Would highly recommend.
Don’t let the location (in Frizinghall) put you off. The food is good and freshly prepared, the portions are very generous so bring a big appetite. The staff are friendly and helpful. My only problem was that at the end I didn’t have room for a sweet, but that’s my problem. I would like to eat here again.
SUPERB Food, Wine and Service for a relatively modest price. I would particularly recommend the Casareccio followed by the Lobster Ravioli. They do a great range of off the menu wine, and the Primitivo was smashing. Do not miss out on this little gem of a restaurant if you have the opportunity!
Excellent atmosphere and delicious food. Veronica is the loveliest person ever, and makes sure that her guests are well looked after. Amazing Italian hospitality and food brings a bit of Sicily to Shipley.

Our welcome on arrival as first timers was both warm and enthusiastic. Bread and olives were complimentary at the table. We ordered house red at £12 a bottle which was easy drinking without being too run of the mill.
Our party of three ordered insalata tricolore, mozzarella in carroza, and spicy meatballs as our starters. My meatballs were perhaps a little less spicy than I would have liked, but my wife and friend both found their dishes to be spot on. We were also presented with a pizza bread compliments of the chef.
For main I chose a seafood tagliatelle which was packed with shellfish, squid and octopus - what a delight! My wife chose Chicken Boscaiola - declared a triumph, and our friend a vege risotto.
Again the main courses were tasty and like the starters the portions were HUGE!
We availed ourselves if the superb value ‘2 courses for £13.95’ offer which has a short starter choice and a choice of any main course pasta, risotto or pizza- yes that’s two courses for three people, including wine for £54!!!

I have now been twice, very friendly and helpful staff, very cosy place to eat, the starters are full of flavour, the pasta dishes are fantastic, with wonderfully flavoured sauces, and a good choice of sweet dishes.
Extremely nice staff. Fabolous food. Big portion. I can recommend this place to everyone. See you next time My Thai xxx
