Brilliant. My all time favourite. I have eaten at many curry houses over the years and The Shaan is the best by a mile.

 Shaan seemed the most traditional from my quick driving recce, and I promised myself there and then a visit at my earliest convenience.   My inaugural visit was yet again another lonesome early dinnertime Bradford Curry eating experience (oh how I wish I had some friends).  So just gone noon I wandered in to the not long open for the day and still empty restaurant.  A nice place with marble effect clad walls, and half the restaurant decked with wicker chairs the other half decked with faux leather.  Rather pleasant in the kind of posh but basic curry house vibe. I collected the pretty comprehensive menu from the counter and took my seat in the window.  Lots of the usual curries were present but on the back I spotted a type of dish called Taka-Tak, and, I quote (inc. spelling mistake), "Taste a dish which you haven’t tasted before. Lahore’s finest bought to you by Shaan.  Freshly cooked dish on a hot thawa."  It came in lamb, chicken, chops, brains, trotter, etc varieties. Oohhhh! It sounded very interesting - and judging from the Youtube clip above, was going to be interesting - and a dish I had not tasted before.  So setting my heart on the Lamb Taka-Tak I eagerly awaited the waiter/chef to come take my order.  "Only the evening chef can do the Taka-Tak specials" came the response to my request! "I can do you karahi, balti..."  A little deflated, I jumped in mid sentence and opted for the straight plain Lamb Karahi... with chapatis (Shaan provides chapatis or rotis with all it's main courses - as it should be :-)) - I couldn't be bothered looking at the menu again!
I have been a regular at Shaan for several years, last night I was out with few friends and decided to eat here, we ordered few mix starters, chicken and meat masala. Must admit didn’t disappoint, mix starters were spot on and the curry’s had their own taste.
Visited last night, great food and amazing service. It's a hidden gem. Be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

I come here every 2 or 3 years when I visit my aunt and the food is always fantastic. They are a bit rough round the edges and don't expect the food to be made in under 30 minutes but it's worth the wait. I feel this place is authentic and the people running it feel real. Great little Bradford treasure, will be back in 2 years time.
Negative reviews here make me realise people need to calm down, sit back and have a beer while waiting for some amazing food. No need for the hussle and bustle, chill people :)

I ordered with Shaan through Uber Eats and have to say the time from putting in the order to having it delivered was just about right, not too quick and not too long.
I ordered some a portion of onion bhajis, veg pakoras, aloo tikka, shami kebabs and samosas.
The samosas are my only complain as there on the small side however that's where the nagativity ends, the onion bhajis were the real deal proper Indian style ones as we're the shami kebabs that were without a doubt the highlight.
What really pushed my review to a five star rating is the fact they sent me a free bag of mixed salad, also a large tub of mint sauce and their own shaan sauce that complimented the starters very well.
Overall a very pleasant experience, thank you.

One of my all time favourites. The samosas are one of the best I have tasted and the dishes are amazing. The meat masala is very tasty and flavoursome. The tandoori rotis are also one of the best you can buy anywhere. The restaurant has had a recent refurbishment and has nice lighting.
I have been visiting here for 30 years and still love it. Service has improved quite a lot recently too.
Been to Shaans a few times now. Each time, the food has been freshly cooked and very tasty.
The mixed grill starters are very good, curries good and breads are good.

Food absolutely fabulous pokoras samosas and kebabs delicious well pleased. Excellent delivered on time the delivery driver was excellent delivery with a smile and on time . 1 item was missing from my order the coca cola and i rang they were excellent they got the delivery man to drop it off. Very good
