I like to browse a decent wool shop and this one's great. It has a huge variety not just knitting and crochet but for other craft projects too. It's a shame the cafe isn't open as I could have a break during my visit too. When I went on Saturday the usual woman wasn't on and the lady standing in didn't know an awful lot about the stock, patterns etc, which was a shame. There's a great space above too full of coats, winter garbs, a real walkers paradise. I believe they run craft workshop occasionally too.

A lovely warm welcome as we entered this small, characterful & popular cafe. We had a breakfast sandwich in ciabatta bread which was delicious šŸ˜‹ but all the food being brought out looked first class. The coffee was great quality too. We will be back.

My wife likes to buy her knitting wool from here. We have been going here for sometime. They also sell hiking gear boots, jackets, backpacks etc. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a look.

Went to the walking shop to purchase a new ski jacket. Friendly, helpful and no pressure to buy. Good price for the jacket which met my requirements perfectly. Will definitely go back there again

Shopped in both the walking shop and the wool shop ā˜ŗļø purchased a new pair of walking shoes and winter coat. I wasn't sure if the walking shop would have a coat in my size, but they did. It was purchased at just the right time. The wool shop, although they don't sell the brand I was looking for, another was recommended and it turned out great to finish a project I'd started. I also couldn't resist buying some more, bought some Christmas sparkly yarn šŸ§¶šŸ«¶ it's nice to find this place only 10mins from our new home. It's a shame the cafe is closed!

I love looking at the knitting wool. There is a huge selection. The out door section is good as well. The cafe has an excellent choice and the staff are very friendly

Great mill shop. We didn't realise it was there until we drove past it one night. We clocked the opening times on the sign outside and went when it was open. It's down the lane from the sign and has a car park there. There's a yarn shop downstairs. Upstairs is a great outdoor shop selling boots, outdoor clothing and camping bits. The prices are decent here and the quality of the stuff seems good. We also picked up a few local walking books too. Staff are really friendly. We'll be back again to get more bits as we need them!

Absolutely fabulous place for all your wool needs. Always spoilt for choice when visiting and usually end up with more than 1 project. Katie is passionate about all things wool and is always happy to help. We'll worth a visit

There is so much choice of different wools that the place is truly well named. I wish it was easier to access but that would cost me a fortune!!

A super little hidden gem, like an Aladdin's Cave of yarn, my friend and I make special trips out here from Leeds, just because it's so fabulous. The owner is lovely and so knowledgeable about all the yarn, even that she doesn't stock, she'll make sure to give you a suitable alternative. We also love the outdoor shop upstairs too! You can find some real bargains!

Fantastic shop for both wool prices are better than online and such a wide choice. The bargain packs and fents that pop up throughout the year are fabulous, itā€™s like an Aladdinā€™s cave of treasures, oh and outdoor clothing upstairs keeps husband happy.

Fabulous Aladdinā€™s cave of wool and products for knitting and crotchet. Patterns galore. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We should all support these gems. If we donā€™t, we will lose them. No cafe at the place now. But ones not far away.
