Love mumtaz,been going since it newly opened! All time favourite is the paneer tikka and chicken tikka, also the mock tails are delicious!
Went here recently after a few years...late Sunday evening ...was quite busy but pleasant..the service was very cordial and good...have rated Indian cuisine all over and have to say the quality and taste is pretty good...yes a bit more pricey than others...but that tends to follow fame and branding I guess....overall have to recommend it...a pioneer which continues to churn out good food
Stunning. The best place to eat in Bradford. Mumtaz is always busy so go early or be prepared to wait for a table. Having said that, it really is worth waiting!

Had a great experience at Mumtaz Bradford. Was my first time and I would definitely go back!
We ordered poppadoms & pickle tray, mixed grill for two, chicken tikka masala, lamb dopiaza, chips, garlic naan (with cheese on top), chocolate fondant, sticky toffee pudding, papri and mango lassi. Washed down with iron bru - my fave! Everything was delicious and piping hot.
Special shout outs to the pickle tray - it was huge and there was so much choice. The naan was gorgeous and the chicken tikka curry masala I had. The desserts we had were made in house and were chefs specials, definitely worth a try.
The service was top notch, some places rush you in and out - this was not the case here. Our waiters were all very attentive - so much so we left a large tip. The restaurant was clean, tidy and was nice inside. I personally loved the large letter from Buckingham Palace on the wall. You could buy sweets and Mumtaz products at the front of the restaurant too. Free parking was available round the back too.
I haven't been to mumtaz in over two decades so thought I would revisit! A lovely and hospitable experience, with warm staff who were helpful and food which was fresh and tasty. The food was spicier than I remembered and the staff were quick to make adjustments and get me something to cool matters down! My mistake! A lovely experience and one I would highly recommend
My first order from Mumtaz on uber eats, my friend placed the order and his main meal was not sent. Also they wrapped a plain naan & a garlic naan together, which was not very good and my friend was not happy about that either. I tried chicken & spinach with a naan, which was delicious and i highly recommend it. The onion with mint, was banging too.
I will definetley order again when i fancy a curry.
Went for my birthday meal with family, really enjoyed the atmosphere. Interior was beautiful, staff were very friendly and helpful. all dishes tasted fresh and served hot. We was all really fond of the food- just hoped the toilets were kept up to hygiene level. Other than that everything was great.
I've had two amazing meals at this place on separate occasions and can honestly say it is top knotch food. Very impressed. Lovely and clean, spacious environment and amazing food. I especially love the garlic naan, and the takeaway frindges and desserts make it a place to visit also. If I am in Bradford, this is where I eat ✌️❤️🙏
Like how they've redecorated the place, giving it a more modern, chic feel. The food was nice and to our spice preference, which is always a big plus! Service was ok but could be improved. We had to ask for sauces and water after they forgot to bring it. Was slow on getting us the bill and I was surprised to find I had been charged for water; they should've asked if I wanted bottled or tap. Andrew our waiter was super nice, knowledgeable and helpful :)
Beautifully decorated and comfortable seating . Spacious space. Kind staff. Maryam a new staff member served us well and was very friendly ! Bless her

The host was really friendly and took us promptly to our table, service was great from our waiter Syed, really took his time to explain the menu to us. We got the pickle tray and poppadoms to start off with, biggest pickle tray selection I’ve seen. Had the mix grill, butter chicken and some naans everything was cooked perfect. Honestly can’t fault this place
I absolutely loved the food here, the flavours takes me back to India! Amazing location, beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, they have it all! The highlight of this restaurant is their chocolate waffle, the only place in the UK by far where I’ve had crispy waffles… 10/10!
This was the best dining experience I have ever had! Myself and my partner were blown away with the decor, music and service. The whole experience begins as you enter and walk past the counters fulled of Mumtaz branded goods! You are then welcomed into the dinning area, seated and looked after from there.
The food was an explosion of flavours, the pickle tray was the best I have ever had. The mains were deliciously spicy, tasty and just out right gorgeous! The Desserts are to die for ( I had 2).
I am a South African now living in the south of England now and I have eaten in all types of eateries across the world and this experience and food is by far number 1.
To make it even better today was my birthday and I was surprised by the staff with a yummy chocolate fondant (nightly recommend!) and my favourite rendition of “it’s my birthday”
We loved it and will definitely travel the 200 miles to revisit (ASAP!)

Absolutely loved the food with excellent service. Ordered Punjabi Karahi as per suggestion from staff and it was 10/10, was skeptical about chappal kebab as it is not their expertise but on our surprise it was so good. Overall, we loved our trip in that peaceful environment.
Customer service was on point and very friendly towards my kids especially from one waiter who was seating people food wasn't all that the fact I asked for mayonnaise and was given yogurt lol also the seekh kebabs doner well its not donner if its a full seakh kebab on naan seriously but overall its definitely nice eating from there
