First time I've been, and was lovely. 3 adults 1 6 year old, good choice of food, fishcakes were yum. Kids pizza was a hit too.
Service was great, all staff (bar staff and waiters) all friendly. Would go back again
Absolutely love calling in for a meal & drinks here, we do normally book but sometimes we have just called in and have always been seated even when they have been busy.

We had an amazing experience at George and the Dragon. Jess provided excellent service, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. The welcoming atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Highly recommend!
This is a nice restaurant. Firstly, they are pet friendly which is very welcome if you’re with a dog. The restaurant has a nice feel, and it’s clean and cosy. The George & Dragon has become a regular place to eat for my family and myself. We've never had a bad meal and the service is first class. Tonight we were served by Louise and James who made us very welcome. I'd definitely recommend eating here.
