Had a lovely brunch today with my daughter. We turned up at 11am but food wasn't until 12pm so we thought we would wait and enjoy the view when the waiter came over and told us that he spoke to the chef and he was happy to serve us early. Very friendly and kind to do so. Will be going back very soon! Food was amazing!

We held my daughters 30th birthday meal here for 33 people. From start to finish, everything was so well organised. The meals were exceptional. I would highly recommend this venue and shall be using it more often. Well done to Liz and the staff.

It was my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary so they chose the boathouse as the venue for the meal. The pub has a lovely feel and atmosphere and we had a big table layed out for 16. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented, the staff were fantastic and lovely. They even accommodated really well for the 18month old we had with us, who loved her extra side of peas and ice cream! The salted caramel cheesecake is to die for! Had a lovely day and my grandparents thoroughly enjoyed themselves so massive THANK YOU!!! Dont live in the area but would definately come out of my way to visit again! :)

Thought this looked like an interesting place and having been to their hotel nearby, thought it was worth a shot. Very glad I booked a table, it was busy and all restaurant tables were booked for Saturday lunch. Menu is good and prices are very reasonable. Service was good and fairly quick, food was really tasty and well presented. I would definitely go back.

Service was quick, the staff very polite and we loved looking out at the boats. The food was absolutely delicious, we will go back but maybe in the evening because it is mainly main meals on offer. As they are serving food nearly all day I cannot mark them down, other establishments have an early afternoon cut off. I did remember to take snaps of out food and must admit I wish I had chosen the same dessert as himself it was absolutely delightful.

Popped in for dinner. It was not very busy but it was after the main season that we visited. Staff friendly and efficient. Chose the cheeseboard for desert and the best I've had other than at home. In fact I think it would actually serve two people!

Good service from the staff in this pub, the menu was a little pricey but the food was really nice, i wouldn't quite say it was worth the price but nearly. It has a menu which i would describe as slightly limited but with enough staples on there that everyone in my group of six found something not only that they liked, but they wanted to eat. Nice laid back atmosphere, dogs are welcome inside, and it has a nice play area for kids at the back/side

Spacious restaurant with outside seating too. Friendly staff. Wide variety of food, above the normal pub fare. Good portions. We liked it.

This is an excellent family pub, in an interesting setting, and with a great garden for kids. The service was very good, with friendly, attentive staff. The menu is classic pub fayre, and all the better for it. The ploughmans is particularly good. Unfortunately the "salt and pepper" squid wasn't particularly salt & peppery, and cut far too thick, but was ok. No complaints about any of the other food, which was very nice. Add in the reasonable prices, and nice wine, and you're left with a great little pub for a nice lunch.

I should have got a pic of my fish and chips but there are plenty of people have done so, equally as pleased I expect. A lovely venue, friendly staff and great food. The fish and chips was haddock and when it came I thought at first it was perhaps a bit over done, and the chips. It was not at all. It must be whatever is in the batter, it was perfectly crisps and the haddock, I've had other places locally and has had a strong taste, this didn't. If you had told me it was cod I wouldn't have known. Delicious and with a lovely view out across the boats. I was on my one and as I went in and asked the gent at the bar said no problem, there is a table about to become free and cleaned it for me to sit down. After my main I went and took a cosy seat on a sofa and ordered a desert, the photo I have included. Sticky banoffee pudding. It was also great. I'd happily visit this place again. It was a chance find and a good one.

Pre booked, asked for window but was placed elsewhere and then we were asked to move, to the window. So, we got seats as requested. Service fairly quick, wonderful food. Lovely atmosphere, we had gone with a friend, live music started at 9pm so we left, as we wanted to chat, ordinarily the music we might have enjoyed. It's great to have a local venue that can provide food and music.

Good value and fantastic for kids. We visited on bank holiday Monday and the kids meals came out within 10mins! Highly recommend for families and dog lovers too as dogs are welcome. Great outside play area for children. Pub is right on the river so there are boats to look at and comfy sofas to relax after a walk. We have never come before but will definitely return. Great find and good food. Everything you could need for a refill and relax with the kids. Generous kids portions too.

A quaint marina pub giving lovely options for food and drink at a fair price tag, the indoor seating is clean and modern and they do accept bookings for large groups, as well as having more space upstairs for events. The children's play area of a pirate ship is a bit on the older side but can still entertain so something to do for the little ones and plenty of space on both sides of the venue for outdoor seating, either the grass area or the patio.
