A lovely, welcoming little café, which was the perfect lunch stop for my son and I after walking along the canal towpath from Bath. It was very quiet inside the barn (Tues afternoon in August), probably because it was such a hot, sunny day, so we found a table easily. (Outdoor seating is also available.) We enjoyed a cheese and chutney sandwich and a pot of tea. Good quality food, friendly service and a cosy atmosphere. We will definitely return.

Went in here for bite of lunch. Not a bad selection of Sandwiches and cakes. Unfortunately as we went quite late some items were sold out. We still had a very decent lunch. Staff were exceedingly friendly and ready to share a chat. A lovely place to spend some time with friends or family.

I visited the coffee bean today with my elderly parents, one of whom is in a wheelchair. I am delighted to say that not only was the coffee and cakes delicious but the care and attention the staff gave to me and my parents was exceptional. It really was the highlight of their day and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely little cafe in its idyllic setting. To top it all they also have a fully accessible disabled toilet. We will definitely be back and would like to thank the staff for making us so welcome. Liz from Chapmanslade

I went to this place the other day with my wife and we had a lovely lunch and some super cake and it was great. I had the mushroom soup with a cheese scone. My wife had something too, but I’m not really sure what that was as I was very much into eating my mushroom soup and cheese scone. It was amazing. I then had some cake which was delicious. My wife had some cake and I had some of it too as the portion was so great that she couldn’t manage it all which was awesome for me as I got to have one and a half tasty cakes. The staff are totally excellent too. If you are in the area, you would have to be absolutely mental not to go.

Delightful people, fantastic service, lovely tea and just great cakes. Went there today with groups of people for my birthday and we were made so welcome. Made even more amazing in that my sister decided to stage an impromtu craft session! Would reccomend highly to anyone passing on a walk, and will definitely be back!

Well placed for the canal and riverside walks. Two basic indoor seating areas and within the great tithe barn complex. Reasonable choice of hot & cold drinks, cakes and some hot and cold sandwiches.

Very friendly staff, i unfortunately I didn’t stop for a coffee or cake but asked if I could use the restroom (as heavily pregnant) and they were very kind to let me. The cakes did look delicious and everyone seemed to be having them. There are tables outside so that you can catch some sun, lovely!

Fantastic place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee. Everything is locally sourced and made. A family run business with every attention to detail and friendly, welcoming staff. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to take a break when exploring the local area. Dog friendly too!

First time visit to the coffee barn and it's seems quite a lovely little place and very busy! The cakes Iook amazing and all home made. I ordered coffee, scrambled eggs beans on toast! The coffee arrived quite soon abit of a wait for breakfast. But I do prefer to have my coffee served the same time as my food! I could have said please could I have them together. The scrambled eggs on toast was lovely but the beans we're cold and mixed with onion's which is a new one on me! And the fact that I wasn't told or asked if I liked onions with my beans in the first place! As customer it might have helped if this was pointed out to me! Because what if I had an allergy to onions luckily I don't but the point is you can't just add things to people's food without asking if you would like onion's I asked for beans not beans & onion's that was my only problem here! But overall it was a nice place and will probably be back again just not ordering beans next time! Don't let this put you off the place it's probably just a traditional thing!

A cosy little cafe. We called in for afternoon drink and cake which were lovely. Right at the hub of the interesting buildings and near the river. Staff friendly, prices reasonable, toilets available.

The Coffee Barn is getting deservedly popular. There is normally at least one wheat free cake, and it is dog friendly.
