The Barge Inn Restaurant - Bradford-on-Avon - Photo album

We stayed here for one night as we had hired a barge for the day. I love older quirky buildings with character which the Barge Inn is being a listed building. I love the fact that it is dog friendly, we had a lovely evening meal and found the bed so comfortable. We chose to have a light breakfast w
There is no car park so we needed to park on the road. We called on Sunday afternoon but not looking for a Sunday Roast or big meal. Fortunately they did ciabata rolls and a lovely bowl of chips Perfect. Friendly service and loved the decor.
Rained for two day But we were so delighted to find both evening meals were5 stars delicious my husband and I had different food which we shared a little as we were over the moon all meats were perfectly cooked all veg was perfect and sauces were just perfection thank you Claire the cook you are a v
Stopped off there after a long motorcycle ride to be made very welcome. First of all, great coffee, secondly cooked breakfast was fantastic. Good value as well. Like this place as it has the canal running along the rear of the garden.
Lovely pub to stop of at on a sunny day. Dog friendly. Lots of outside garden space and if you go up some stairs you can sit by the Canal and watch boats and the world go by. Serves lovely food too.
Visited for Sunday lunch. Parking on site. Register and you can leave car, go for a walk and eat without worrying. Just ensure to Register in the pub! We had the set Sunday roast beef and chicken. Excellent food and timely service. Perhaps the best Sunday lunch I've eaten in a while. Decent value to
Best Sunday roast we've had in a long time. Great selection of nicely cooked veg. Good service from staff
We were a party of 8...they were quite busy, so had a little wait, but it was worth it. Absolutely delicious, well cooked, roasts and very generous portions. We would recommend the food. The pub needs a little TLC but overall, still a 5/5.
Quick pit stop for a beer whilst cycling . The food looked delicious , but unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat . Busy beer garden , waitress service 😊😊
Excellent location by the side of the Kennet & Avon canal. Rooms were clean and had all the facilities you would want. Bar and meals very good.Great service.
Lovely location, friendly staff, delicious food (we had pork belly, fish & chips and the vegan burger) and dog friendly too!
The staff are great, but there are not enough of them. Severely understaffed at the bar. Food was good and the location is pretty.
We arrived and were seated promptly, polite staff and superb Sunday roast. Nice selection of vegetables to accompany the roast which was well presented and good value for money. Will definitley visit again.
A super location. The service was good, and sitting outside next to the canal whilst eating your choices is recommended. Our 2nd stop, and would stop again.
Card only pub no cash, food seemed OK I only had a few nibbles lovely location on the canal staff were very helpful and friendly
Nice pub in a pleasant location, good food (really good pizzas). We had a nice evening and would have stayed for a couple more pints but it was too cold - we were sat inside but every door to the outside was wide open so we felt like we were actually sat in the beer garden!
