Stunning food, great staff, great atmosphere.
Popped in for dinner tonight, a last minute decision. Service was excellent but the food was outstanding, both my fiancée and I commented that the conversation simply stopped when the food arrived it was so good. Chris had the lamb steak, beautifully cooked with figs, I had the stuffed chicken breas
Had a wonderful 1-night stay here at the weekend. Wished we had booked for 2 nights! Room was absolutely lovely, in fact the whole building was full of character, with period pieces and beautiful furniture. The food in the restaurant was cooked to perfection!

Great pub to spend your evening especially in warm Weather. Great garden but don't be too late as limited space outside. Great tasting innovative food. Reasonable priced.
The place is under new management. Very pleasant, relaxed. Kind people running the pub. A lovely experience. Inside comfortable, outside larger seating area now to enjoy the garden. Very good menu/ also take away.

Enjoyed a midweek meal here with friends which we all enjoyed. Parking is limited but on street parking is available nearby. Gorgeous outdoor space and lovely decor inside. The staff were friendly and the food very reasonable. Would visit again.
