Nice pub in the centre of town. Good atmosphere and great playlist make it a perfect spot to relax and escape the Bradford traffic. The staff were excellent, a decent selection of drinks and freshly cooked food. Look forward to returning.
Dined and had a few drinks as a group of five. Pleasant customers, staffs are polite and welcoming. As for the food, everyone enjoys their meals with no complaints. We ordered burgers and fish and chips. The fish tasted fantastic as it was cooked fresh and served with nice crispy french fries. Five
Ok place, had a nice cold pint on a hot day. Two pints £11+.
Turned up today unplanned 11 of us and two big dogs, we asked if the fit us in for lunch. Nothing was too much trouble the barman set us up a large table and ran around after us. Food was amazing very filling, the kitchen coped well with some fussy guests and a GF meal. Top marks amazing place to
Nice pub but a bit quiet when I visited, very well kept Wadsworth 6X though.
Very nice feeling pub, the food for both of us was really salty though, and as of June '23, not a huge range of vegetarian options, the chef is new though apparently, and more meals are set to be introduced soon I've been told.
Our tradition of a final day of holiday lovely meal was perfectly executed by the Dandy Lion. Highly recommend. Fab food, friendly, helpful staff.
Had belly of pork, delicious 😋 wife had cod in beer batter .also delicious 😋dear beer and tonic water.☹️
Had a very nice small bit of lunch. Bacon and brie ciabatta and my girlfriend had the ham, egg and chips.
Both meals were really nice and had an attention to detail. Would definitely come again
The staff are awesome, helpful and very friendly. The food is AMAZING! I’d recommend The Dandy Lion as a place to visit. I’d give it more stars if I could. 🤘😁
Food, Service and Atmosphere were great. We had great food and lots of fun.
Visited this quaint pub just before Christmas.
I was shocked to pay £16.30 for a Beer and a 250ml of white wine with a dash of soda! I have visited many pubs in the Bath and Bradford on Avon area, and I have never been charged such an extortionate price!
The best nut roast I've ever had, and at £10'95 is a bargain! I'm a regular now because of that. The kids roast is also very good value.
Well what can l say! Bradford on Avon, l wish l could call this my home. This pub was recommended when we were ready to rest our weary legs, we were not prepared for the steep inclines! Not usually one to leave reviews, but felt this pub was worthy. We hadn’t booked, but this wasn’t a problem. A lov
