fabulous food and fabulous service. Tuna steak cooked as it should be and the service was faultless. So lucky to have this on my doorstep, I'll certainly bring friends and relatives who come to stay here.

Have walked past this restaurant a few times, and tonight we finally popped in for a bite to eat after work.
The entrance is a bit hidden away from the main road, but easy to find and accessibility doesn't appear to be an issue.
The restaurant is painted quite darkly, but with the glorious evening light flooding in it felt light and airy. High ceilings with interesting light fittings. We were shown to our table and were sat directly by the River Avon as it ambled its way through Bradford.
We ordered deep fried mozzarella and the breaded mushrooms, both of which were superb - nothing like the pub versions you might think of.
Mains were a couple of pizzas. I went for the Milanese - goats cheese, onion chutney and rocket - whilst the hubbie went for the Pescatore - prawns, anchovies, clams & tuna. Both were flavourful and bright. My only tiny downside is that they felt a little floppy - another couple of minutes in the oven. I'm being really picky as we devoured both of them with vigour!
Dessert was a tiramisu for him and a brownie for me. Both were excellent.
I will definitely be returning in the near future, if you are looking for somewhere to eat in Bradford on Avon then this place is well worth a try.
They also have an outdoor area, which I didn't feel like braving!

Enjoyed a cool San Miguel in the hot sun.
The gentleman on the next table recommended the food to us so we took advantage of the any pizza for £10 or any pasta for £10.
The lasagne was excellent and the mushroom pizza was very good indeed.
The service was exemplary.
First visit to Bradford-on-Avon, a lovely little market town.
Great spot on the riverside for lunchtime.
Lots of choice, we had 3 dishes... Carbonara, Bolognese and Caprese salad served with garlic bread. Very tasty😋
If your there give it a try..especially sat on the river facing the town bridge, it's a lovely spot.

Lovely appointed restaurant Riverside with outdoor area. We had pizza which was very good. The one thing that let it down was the service. Staff sort of stood around with no sense of urgency or welcome. Looked like they would prefer to be somewhere else! Shame as this could be top class place with some staff training in hospitality.
We had such a nice meal at this restaurant. Food was amazing and staff were very friendly. Our table was just next to the river so brilliant atmosphere! Thanks to them for giving us lovely dinner on the last night of our narrow boat trip✨

Went in this evening for dinner and the food and service was second to none. Was reasonably priced as well considering what we had with drinks etc as well. Would highly recommend. If we are ever in the area we will definitely visit again.
Lovely celebratory birthday meal with family last night. 12 of us, but food hot, service still excellent . We all really enjoyed it. Age range 21 to 95 , menu had something for everyone. Only downer was the house white! Sorry but it’s awful, but Pinot and Sauvignon only a little more in price, so really not a problem. Thank you.
Table for seven, plenty of room. Not shoe horned in like some establishment's. Very good service and excellent meals all round. Will be going back.
Excellent quality and value lunchtime special, dining al fresco alongside the river with view of the old town bridge. Service suffered slightly because only two persons serving even though restaurant was fairly busy. Staff were very friendly and polite nevertheless. This was OK for us because we were not in a hurry, but some might consider service slow.
What a find. Thought the website and published menu were a bit second rate the way they were presented, but we decided to go anyway as it seemed to be the best option we had on the day.
Oh my, it was so much better. What a gem of a place above the river next to the bridge. The food and wine was faultless. So too the service and the ambience as we sat outside on the terrace on a warm summers evening.
I went there last week, it was a blind guess, to be honest, and IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!! I had one of their pizzas and a pasta which was really yummy! the staff is amiable and the ambience is worth enjoying! 1000% recommended! I am so going there the next time I visit Bradford on Avon! We have had a fantastic day in Bradford on Avon. In the evening we decided to have a nice dinner somewhere. We wanted to eat something Italian, hence we chose Il Ponte restaurant at the river bank. The owner and the staff were very nice and polite. I can tell that we had a fantastic dinner. I had Spaghetti Bolognese with Parmesan cheese on top. It was a decent portion, well seasoning, delicious food. My wife had a Calzone, which is actually a folded pizza which was bigger than the plate served on. That was full inside with fantastic, well seasoned tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms and salami. My daughter had a Pancetta & Gorgonzola pizza which was yummy too. We definitely will return to this restaurant. I recommend everyone who want to eat something delicious, nice Italian food with a fantastic view to the river and the bridge. Thank you
Walked past, smelt food, went in and had the best pasta I've ever ever had! Al dented pasta with perfectly cooked seafood! Absolutely divine
