Great pub lunch stop on a walk with friends, in the countryside around Bradford on Avon. Lovely garden, great pork cheek sandwich, lovely beer and very friendly staff. Would love to return to try more of the menu!
My third visit. This time I had the lamb rump which was beautifully cooked. I was most impressed by the jus/sauce/gravy which was full of flavour and depth. I spoke with Rob (chef patron) afterwards and learnt why; that jus/sauce/gravy is 48 hours in the making!!! Needless to say I've lready booked my next visit
What a great pub with great food, beer, and lovely staff. It is a delight to go to and to enjoy the magic that the Chef will be creating for the menus of the day. Looking forward to my next visit which will be very very soon.
Fantastical food!! Just wish it was in Chigwell, well worth the three hour journey -
Amazing lunch today; the food is consistently sublime and service super-friendly. My fave place to eat!

We highly recommend this delightful countryside pub just outside of Bath city. Very good value for money, a friendly & relaxed atmosphere, and a professional service with a smile guaranteed. The food is incredible, especially the range of homemade ice creams. Fantastic all rounder!
Wow wow wow. The Good Food Guide was absolutely right. I was in a wheelchair and the young man behind the bar arranged for me to get in at the front. He & the young lady looking after us were superb. Water arrived without asking our different soups were amazing. My steak was excellent although I couldn't eat it all. Butter milk mash great. The ice cream were fantastic.
Thank you all we return in just over 10 days.
Visited2 nights in a row, as staying nearby. amazing food lovely staff and very dog friendly.
Welcoming, friendly and cosy pub. Food is so far above typical pub fare. We visit to eat as well as drink. But there's no pressure on people wanting just a drink. All welcomed the same.
We have never been disappointed by anything we've eaten.
There's everything from wonderful pies and steaks with perfect piping hot fresh chips to home smoked fish and meat dishes, fresh fish and shellfish (weather permitting).
The soups, sauces and gravies have real depth of flavour and are carefully chosen to complement the dish. And the homemade chocolates take chocolate to a whole new level.
Small portions of everything are available for children. If you have any dietary requirements phone a couple of days ahead and let them know and the unfailingly helpful team will do everything they can to help.
Great friendly service..food was fab and the unusual ice creams on offer were the perfect end to a lovely evening of dining out.
The most gorgeous of Sunday roast beef and yorkshires with a gastronomic twist. Fantastic service and attention to detail. Want to go again at the next opportunity as more than a few miles away unfortunately!
My favourite pub, everything is exceptional and I can’t wait to go back!
Best food in the area without a doubt! Our second visit - and just as amazing, if not better than our first. Even the burger is impeccable and so well balanced. Lovely staff as ever too. Cannot recommend enough!
Went for dinner with friends recently. The pub is lovely and the service is good too. Between us we had two steak and kidney pies, the burger and fries and the boullabaise. We also shared a "smoked cod roe and prawn crackers" starter.
The fresh homemade bread and butter brought to the table is divine and the starter was absolutely knock out amazing.
All of the food is a very high standard, although the fries were not the best I have had. I prefer more of a "chip" than a fry and the prices have increased significantly since we last visited.
We were too full to have a dessert, but enjoyed a homemade petit four each when we asked for the bill.
The Longs Arms is a wonderful top notch gastro pub and a good choice for a special occasion. I would have given five stars, but we felt that £24 for pie and mash and £34 for boullabaise was a bit steep. Didn't get photos of all the dishes unfortunately.
Lovely quiet country "pub" set across the road from a beautiful church with the most amazing mulberry tree in the church yard (I mention this as we were eating with my 2 under 5 daughters) so made a great distraction. I say "pub" as the food was exceptional. Everything from the snacks to after meal chocolates was outstanding. The dishes were well presented and delicious. Service was attentive and polite. They were also patient with both our children and our many questions and requests (mostly due to the children). The atmosphere was quite which and the other people eating or drinking were friendly. Only thing I would say is it would be nice to have a broader price range of wines. All were quite dear. However the wine we had was lovely. Definitely best place I have eaten in the area around corsham (even better than many places in Bath).
Great food and service, can't beat it for a special meal or a casual dinner. Seasonal and fresh produce, and for an acclaimed chef still very down to earth and friendly
An impeccable light lunch. Arrived right at the end of service yet I was happily accommodated. Skate with samphire, an excellent pickled veg, and purple potatoes was delicious, the homemade bread and butter perhaps even better. A lemon lime bitters was made bespoke for me. So worth the country lanes detour to seek out.
What a find. Lovely local pub, but, the food is out of this world. Definitely going back. Home baked bread AND butter, prior to meal, absolutely delish. Barman gave amazing and personal service. Cannot recommend this pub enough. Never eaten in a Michelin starred restaurant/pub before, so honoured to be able to do so 😁
Food is excellent and the staff were superb. They did really well accommodating our event. Good selection of local ales and cider and also had their own house gin. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
Sensational. From the first bite to the last drop of sherry. Never eaten so well. If you get a chance, visit. They've won a Michelin Bib Gourmand award for a reason. In the pics, braised beef, salmon with gnocchi, raspberry diplomat tart and local blue cheese. Thank you, Longs Arms!
Nestled in South Wraxall near Bradford on Avon is a lovely Gastropub. The service and food are first rate deserving of its Michelin status. If you can get a table well worth a visit.
Any excuse is a good reason to go here.
Quality English (local) food served well I'm a lovely environment
