Definitely in my top 3 restaurants in the UK for Thai food. Loved the whole experience. Ambience is great. Sat inside even though they had a lovely garden seating area. Service was great. The lady helped us with choosing a starter, a platter for the four of us, perfect. Since it was my first time, I opted for the red and green curries and they were one of the best I ever had here in the UK. The egg fried rice which I really never review is worth ordering here. It is different and much more tasty than the ones I ever had even in the best Chinese places. The food was fresh, full of aroma and lovely oriental flavours. Will highly recommend and come again.
A wonderful Thai restaurant in the Prince of Wales pub. Friendly attentive service, good choices on the menu. Authentic food, freshly prepared and cooked to order. We had the mixed platter to start, very tasty indeed. Spring roll, prawn toast, fried squid, chicken satay, pork on skewers, gyoza, prawn crackers. Huge portions, nearly too full for the main course. The Tom Yum was the best I've ever had, lots of duck in mine, which was great, incredibly well spiced. Highly recommended all around. Also, the dessert of sweet sticky rice with mango was amazing!!
Surprised to find a Thai restaurant in a pub. The food was fantastic and authentic. We absolutely enjoyed the food here! Must try the mango sticky rice dessert!
This place was so nice most of all great staff and amazing food, I travelled from so far i took my kids to coral reef for their birthday and came here after to eat, wasn’t sure at first as it was in a pub but honestly the best Thai food Iv had in this country. Ordered pretty much of everything :) the only thing I would not recommend is the quarter/half chicken it was very dry and unedible other than that I highly recommended and if I am ever in that area again will definitely revisit.. xxxx
Amazing, fresh and authentic thai food! Great level of spiciness and excellent value for money as the portions are perfect! Honestly the best Thai food I've had in the UK (even compared to restaurants in London). We ordered the grilled pork neck, pad krapow, tom yum soup, papaya salad, mango sticky rice - all were delicious! Unexpected hidden gem and will now be my go to Thai restaurant!
When we arrived, we were pleased to see lots of Thai people in the car park, who'd just finished their meal. It's always a good indicator that people from that country eat in the restaurant.
Absolutely wonderful food. Taste is very authentic and it is all home-made and very fresh. We all have different tastes when it comes to food, but we were all extremely happy with the food we ordered, and it was so good we all had 3 courses! I didn't take a photo of the savoury dishes but they were fantastic. Deserts beautifully presented.
We also saw people at a nearby table who'd ordered the Sunday roast, and that also looked delicious.
Atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious.
It's nice that there's car parking available and it's close to the town centre.
Highly recommended!
Tasted some of the best Thai food around. It's quitentially a pub and has the atmosphere of a pub. But the food beats any Thai restaurant I have been to. Will be back again for sure.
Was really surprised how good this place was. Doesn't look that much from the outside but inside it's nicely decorated with friendly staff. There's a restaurant side and a bar which comes complete with a pool table. There's a great Thai menu as well as just a few pub classics if Thai isn't your thing. Food came pretty quickly and was well cooked. Can get busy so recommend booking a table for food.
Service is excellent. The restaurant is clean. All food is very delicious and 'real' Thai food. I will definitely come back again! Highly recommend.
Great food. They're not scared of spice or flavour. Happy to come back anytime. Garden is spacious and a mix of grass and semi covered. Despite what the sign says about dogs, your fur babies are allowed if we'll behaved. 4 pints + meals pictured = £38. Decent. Worth a visit.
Excellent food, very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the cocktails. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Overall great dinner at this pub/restaurant.
The place is full of energy, there is one bartender there who is very helpful, he went out of his way to check times for food and gave us his time helping us choose. There is limited parking. We ordered a vegan Red curry which is supposed to come with tofu but there was none, so that was disappointing but overall this is one of the best thai restaurants I've been to.
Discovered this lovely restaurant pub serving Thai cuisine. Thai owner cooks up all his splendid food, truly authentic from the simple n complex taste of TomYom. It hit the note! Fried & soup noodles were good too. Mixed starters with its many Dipping Thai sauces, 4* for them.
Will definitely return f more to try out all the other dishes. Humble value for money food. Kind, friendly n quick service.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere was not so pleasant with a couple occupying a heated conversation, and a screaming child. Perhaps better nxt time.
Super atmosphere yummy food and top class service!!!
Nice pub/restaurant with parking just in front of the building. We had the corner table. The staff there were nice and friendly. I had a Pad Thai that is stir fried rice noodle. I took the option for prawn. This was the first time here in England to try Thai food. Good experience. If the sauce could be lesser sweet, it would be perfect.
Excellent food, great choice and good value for money.
I will become a regular here.
The best Thai food I’ve eaten in the UK. Omg just fantastic! ❤️ I’m heading over again this evening for dinner! Must must visit! :)
