This is a beautiful venue where we have lunched many times. Parking is easy and the gardens are delightful. One can eat inside or out. My lunch today was especially good (sea bass with lemon potatoes), and the staff were charming. I like the fact there was no piped music - just sunshine, fresh air

Really nice gem in the countryside. We just went for food and drinks. The staff was super friendly. Inside is pretty rustic and cozy and the garden is great too and the pub is dog friendly so we got to take the dog which was a nice bonus. The food was really good and I definitely want to go back.
Very handy place to stay when visiting family in Boxworth. However if you realise before you book there is nothing near it. We were not made to feel welcome as they had a private function on. Absolutely amazing hotel! As soon as we arrived, Stephen and his lovely wife Amanda made us feel really welcome! Beds were super comfy, rooms were pukka and breakfast was delicious! I promise you wont be disappointed!
Just had a fantastic evening meal, very good service, excellent Rioja, and superb food!! Will definitely come here again and recommend it to our friends. 👍
We came in after a long walk in a nice sunny day . Seat down in the garden with kids,dog the whole shabang😁. Got some pints and food ,it was BRILLIANT.

Fancied a pint and a gammon steak after work. Estrella on draught and a whopper gammon, chips, peas, pineapple all served promptly and all delicious.
