Great village pub. Nice and friendly, both staff and locals. One of the best Sunday roasts we’ve ever had.

Historic old inn dating back to the 15th century. Good selection of beers, friendly staff and locals. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Food menu looked good but we not available on the day we visited.
Under new management this place is really fantastic. Very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere. We ate there on a Saturday afternoon. Great atmosphere, music playing and most importantly: incredible food.

A varied menu with a chef not afraid to try new things. The dishes feel very uptown date and something you would find in high end restaurants rather than a local pub which I think is great. The portions are still what you would expect from a pub but they are refined and well presented.

Amazing hospitality, good selection of drinks and delicious, affordable food - easily the best steak and the best chips I've ever had (and I've had plenty!).

Fantastic old-feel boozer with colourful locals! Food was superb (Sunday lunch) with more than generous portions. Great front of house with most welcoming landlord Aaron and a chef with skills to compliment this. On holiday but wish this was our local! Hope to be back!
Went for their steak night on a Wednesday & there was nothing to fault. Generous steak, cooked exactly to our requirements with a gorgeous bottle of wine for £25 cannot be faulted! Of course we had to finish with dessert, the sticky toffee pudding & chocolate brownie I would highly recommend!
Enjoyed a visit with 4 children. Chef accommodated children's needs. Bar staff very friendly and made a fuss if the children, Clean and tidy. The food was amazing, good portion sizes and excellent value for money. We will be back again.
