This place is just spot on - Great location, great staff, great menu which delivers on everything it promises, and it won't break the bank like some other establishments in and around Lake Windermere.

Every dishes were really really good. I ordered the salmon salad just because I want to have some veg plate but it was beyond my expectation. Salmon teriyaki was cooked so well, I never saw it like this anywhere.
Boardwalk is an outstanding restaurant that sets the benchmark for all others in Bowness. Excellence throughout from food to service. Truly outstanding and a 'must visit' on any trip to the Lakes.

Great staff, vey friendly. Starter squid not the best but chicken wings- perfectly cooked. Steak cooked to perfection but peppercorn sauce lack of flavour. Fab cheesecake and toffee sundae ☺️
